Golf Course Reviews: California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Utah, Florida, Hawaii!Played here today, 8-31, for the first time. Bought a yardage book based on prior reviews. Played with fellow GKer SPAUL100. Course in great shape-- a couple of dead spots here and there, but overall, very nice. Greens are pristine and just the right speed. A pleasure to walk, as well. On a side note, Spaul100 was absolutely CRUSHING his new Ping G10 driver! Holy crap! The ball seemed to explode off the face. I have never played with him before but he absolutely bombed that driver. That is the first time since my tour days that I have seen a guy CARRY the ball 290-300 yards. It was a different course for him but I know he enjoyed it as well.
Weather was perfect and we saw the cart girl 4 times. Highly recommend making the trip to Summerly!

Played here Wed Jan 2 for the first time in well over a year. Based on all the recent positive feedback, I decided to give it another try. The staff is definitley more friendly than when Troon was running the show. I am a little confused by all the rave reviews of late as the greens were not in great shape. They were VERY sandy and loads of ball marks on EVERY green. We were the first group out and I fixed no less than FIVE ball marks on each green. After each putt, my ball was covered in sand/small pebbles. I will say, however, that most putts still rolled true. The fairways were dry and the rough was dormant. Tee boxes were in good/great shape.
New rates are $49 wkdy, $69 wknd. Range balls are no longer included with your greens fee.
Overall, much better than a year ago. We'll be back.

Played for the first time today. Not impressed AT ALL. Frost delay till 8:00. This will always be a problem in the winter as most of the course is in the shadow of the mountains till about 9:00 am.
The fairways are a JOKE. They are nothing more than dead grass that has been painted green. That's right, they PAINT the grass green! Are you kidding me?! There is no rough whatsoever and it is not a very scenic course. Too many blind shots and poor bunker placement throughout the course. The greens were decent but, as another reviewer pointed out, VERY inconsistent with regard to speed. There is no clubhouse yet and no driving range. As many have already pointed out, this place opened long before it was ready. Were it not for the Donovan Daily specials, nobody would play here. With all of the quality courses in the area, Dos Lagos needed to bring something more to the table. They failed miserably.

Course is in decent shape. Greens hold shots well, but are a bit bumpy and puts tend to 'wiggle' on their way to the hole. A little disconcerting, to say the least.
FYI, Tustin Ranch has the audacity to charge Holiday rates during the week throughout the Christmas break---$175!!!!!! Seriously. Who is paying that MUCH to play this course? I am considering issuing a Lifetime Ban on Tustin Ranch. Stay tuned....

Played Goose today (12/19) and it was cart path only due to heavy rain the night before. As usual, staff was top notch and course was in excellent shape, albeit a bit soggy. Despite the heavy rain, greens were running quite fast. The pins were cut closer to the edges of the greens than I've ever seen them. Will be back on Sunday...
