Played on Sunday 7/17/16 at 5:00 pm for $12. The course is a 9 hole, par 27. Walking Only(little hilly). Lots of chaos, with the remodeling of the clubhouse and pro shop.
The best hole is the sixth, downhill with a small window approach through the trees. Note the ninth, plays much longer than it looks. The rest of the holes were vanilla(about 100 yards, chip and putt holes). Overall the greens were too slow.
All and all, I wish my neighborhood had a course like this to practice on.

First time playing, the greens were nice and fast and loved the design of the course. The staff was helpful except for the starter. He was a jerk and almost ruined the day. I would loved to come back and play again. I guess, I just have to play on his days off.

I got the opportunity to Conestoga on Black Friday with fellow GKer Sixpez. We had a 9:30 tee time but had a 30 minute frost delay. While waiting, we used the putting green that had a chipping area and driving range with free range balls. The starter suggested that we play from the Copper tee since it was our first time there. We were a little hesitate to do so because of the yardage(5889). We played Cooper Tees. Anyway, next time I will be hitting from the Silver(6378). The POP wasn't a issue once we got started.
The course layout is Par 72. The canyons on the front side make for target golf. The views are fantastic. The back side does opens up but still challenging. There is no GPS on the carts but the course does give you a yardage guide. The greens were fast and smooth. The pin placements were in difficult locations. It made it hard to make any putt. The fairways were well define by color, the green fairways and light brown dormant rough. Only water is on nine and ten.
Overall I thought the course conditions were great. Excellent facilities. I just don't understand why golfers don't talk about this golf course more. It's a must and worth the drive from Las Vegas. I will play this course every time I'm in the area.

Played on 9/14/14 with Sixpez. We were first out at a little after 6:00 am. The POP was about one hour and 20 mins. This 9 hole course was in OK shape. The greens were a little slow. Hole two(par 3) come to mind, very challenging design with no real angle to the green. It seemed to be a very short dogleg right par four.
Overall, I was pleasantly surprise because the course was intended to be just a warm up to Canyon Crest Country Club. I would like to play again.

Played here to warm-up for my SCGA One-Day tournament at Los Verdes. The POP was under 2 hours for this 9-hole course. The greens were very slow and took a little of the fun out of my first visit. My second visit is not schedule at this time. Maybe in a year or two. The drive range is down the road and not walkable from the course.

Played in a SCGA One-Day tournament with 9:32 tee time. With a 20 min delay at the start, I turn in my scorecard at 3:45 pm. Yes, POP was over 6 hours. This is why, I only play this course once a year. But its worth it because of the views of ocean and the challenging greens.

Played in SCGA One-Day Series Tournament today. My tee time was 11:08 am. Tee off at 11:40 am. and finish 18 at 5:08 pm. POP was WHATEVER. Course shape doesn't matter at this point. This is ridiculous. By the way, I shot a very bad score.

Yesterday played with Sixpez at 7:00 am. The POP was 3 1/2 hours. The Proshop staff was very customer service friendly. The course was in fair shape. The price, POP, and layout were OK. The most interesting thing was the setting of the golf course. The course sits adjacent to a corn field, little airport, railroad tracks , and 99 Highway. Some different sounds at this golf course. Overall, I 'm glad to have play it, but it's one and done for me. Just to far from home.

Yesterday, played with Sixpez at 1:35pm. The POP was 3 hours. The course has a interesting layout with five doglegs lefts on the front and a monster of a par 5 on the back. Hole eleven is uphill and plays 616 from the blue tees. Lucky for Sixpez and me, we were playing from the whites and it was only 596. Oh, the wind was in our face and the pin was in the back. Overall, the course was in good shape. I almost forgot I was in Bakersfield. I look forward to play again someday.

Played yesterday, a LA Golf group 2-day event, was very difficult with the greens being so firm. Most approach shots were rolling off the greens. I like the layout of the course, very challenging . I hope to play it again soon.

Played this morning, getting ready for the LA golf group two-day event in Temecula (Crosscreek and Redhawk). It's as easy as one , two and three. First, under $50 dollars, second, under three hours to play and finally, great greens. Maybe we should of had the event here. A Must play.

Today was the first-time I played this course. The occasion was a SCGA Outing. I played from the whites with 10:53am tee time. Lots of interesting holes with tree placements in the middle of the fairways and big trees at the corners of the doglegs. You have to shape the ball around this course. The greens were great.
The PGA Head Golf Professional, Bob Kotowski , went into great detail before the round tell us "How to play the course". I wish I could do all those things. I did appreciate it. I can't wait to play this course again.
