Golf Course Reviews: California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Utah, Florida, Hawaii! At first look, Navy appears lush and as good as any public course (even private courses), but take a walk down the fairway and you’ll see your driver pitchmark next to your ball which is covered in mud. There is zero roll so consider moving up a tee box. Hit your next shot short of the green and you’ll find another grass covered mud pit in front of every green. It’s so overwatered that the mowers are causing damage, not to mention everyone in separate carts. I love to walk but it’s so wet, it’s not enjoyable. Once on the green, you’ll need a divot tool to repair the massive pitchmark. I embedded several times today. Greens look good but they are so mushie, you need to slam the putt in. I think the GK is incompetent with so much watering.
