Teed off at 9:15am round completed at 1:15pm. The pace of play was good, rarely did we have to wait for 3some ahead of us. We were not really pushing them and no one was pushing us (the 9 minutes between groups seems to work) . The Greens, Fairways and Tees were in excellent shape. Greens were firm and relatively fast. Nothing but a light breeze after the noon hour, which is normal. I truly enjoyable round

Very friendly and helpful staff work to ensure you have a good experience.

Played Goose Creek on Sunday 3/12/2005. There was a 10 minute delay due to frost and they were sending groups off the 10th tee as back 9 warms up faster than the front 9. Our foursome teed off at 9:00 and completed round in just about 4hrs. The course was in great shape inspite of all the rain. The fairways were excellent as was the rough. The sand in the traps however was a bit heavy. The greens were very firm, fast and a little hard to hold with bump and run approach shots. Overall a very enjoyable round. The rain finally caught us on the 18th tee. A Great course for the money and the Staff provide friendly and excellent service

Played Sunday 3/20/2005. Oak Valley is a Wonderful course and the staff offer great customer service. As for the course, there are some (2) washed out areas due to the rains, but they did not come into play. A couple bunkers were full of water Unfortunately I found one of these, but .for the most part the course was dry and in great shape. It will probably take a week or so without rain to allow the bunkers & washed out areas to come back. But it is still worth playing. You may want to try a weekday round where the rates are less.

- A Very Enjoyable Round! The staff was very friendly and helpful. the pace of play was good. The course is in Great Condition and well worth the $25. For those that have never played here, you need to check it out.

The course was in good shape considering all the rain recently. The Greens are in good shape and the fairways are as well. The only drawback to the round was how long it took (5 hrs) This was probably due to the fact that they let several 5-somes out that day. We had 2 or 3 ahead of us and at least 1 behind. This is a nice little course with some hills that make playing it more interesting. Worth the Greens fees. If you can get out ahead of the 5-somes you will enjoy playing here.

What a course! The staff is friendly and the course well maintained. Beware of early morning tee times as you may experience a frost delay. We teed off at 8:15 am into a thick fog but it lasted only a hole and a half. If you are a 1st timer there, I would recommend a yardage book as the one I bought proved helpful (especially on the 1st 2 holes). I would play this course again in a heart beat it was challenging without penalizing you too much for errant shots.

This course is falling apart, it is almost not worth playing. They are not putting any money into its upkeep. I think this course will not be around too much longer. To keep it going would require a lot of money and time, too bad as it was a fine course in the past.

Had a 7:59 tee time. The course was in rough shape due to the rain and cold weather. The fairways were so thin, you will be better off if your ball lands in the rough. With the amount of "Environmental Areas" on this course expect to lose a few balls. Do not expect to have a level lie on the fairways as there are none. The greens look loke battle zones because of the number of deep ball marks. This is not a course for a Recreational Golfer. The fairways narrow in the landing areas and there is little rough on either side before you get the "Environmental Areas". If you cannot place the ball, you should not play this course. Additionally, The Pace of Play is slow, Our round took a little over 5 hours. I would not play this course again, There are plenty of better ones around that are not as unforgiving to errant shots.

The course is in Great Shape and well worth the $52 to play. The greens are firm and med/fast. Just a Joy to play. Great Pace 3 1/2 Hours for 18 Holes. You do not see that very often anymore. A real good time golfing. I highly recommend it.

The fairways were a quite wet this morning. Additionally, In some areas the rough was super-saturated. The speed of play was Great After the 1st tee we did not run into anyone nor were we pressured by the group behind us. You may want to bring a Hat and Sunglasses if you play an early morning round as a couple of the holes are into the rising sun making it difficult to see you tee shot. Beware there is OB all over this course. Good Challenge at a GREAT Price ($31.00 to Ride Weekdays M-F)

They are letting this course go into the crapper. I have heard that they will transform it into a 9 hole course selling the remaining land for a housing development. Too bad, it WAS a nice course. On the weekend expect to spend about 5 1/2 - 6 1/2 hour per round. They let out lots of 5-somes. It appears they are not watering the course like they used to, and for some reason they did not have any igloo coolers on the course w/ice water. If you are going to play there be sure to bring lots of water and/or money to buy gatorade/soda from the snack bar. The greens fees are reasonable but the quality of the course has diminished greatly in the past couple of months. I would recommend playing only if you HAVE to play and cannot get on anywhere else.

The course was in decent shape, However this is no shade as the trees are not yet mature. Many homes have been built on the course, They are in my opinion far too close to the fairways. WARNING!!! If you do not hit it straight it is possible to hit a home or even a car as it passes on Yucaipa Blvd.
