Played course on Friday March 30th because it said they were punching greens on 4/2 and All greens had already been punched and were totally covered in sand. wish I had known ahead of time greens were pretty very rough with ALL the sand.

Tee'd off around 1PM on Weds. 10/26, finished by 5 and I would have to say that it is rare that a course lives up to the beautiful pictures they usually show on their website home page, however, right now this course is in the best shape that I have ever seen, the fairways and rough were so green and plush, and the greens which are usually very fast, were a bit slower and softer from recent punch, completely recovered. If you have never been to Black Gold do yourself a favor and Come out Now, it will probably never get an better than now. Enjoy!!

Enjoyed Oak Quarry on Sunday Oct 9th, for Anyone that has Not been to this course, it is one of the Best Maintained Muni's in So Cal. It is well worth the drive from the OC. Tee boxes are lush and Flat, Fairways were perfect and Rough is well maintained also and Greens were in good shape, very fast and Challenging. This course is quite the Hidden Gem up in the Rock Quarry. Everything is Top Notch.

Went out on Friday 6/17 at 3PM Twilight, Course in great shape, Pro Shop and Starter VERY friendly, finished in a little over 4 hours, pace was great, Some Greens just a little Bumpy, and some Bunkers a little rough, but Overall Great Experience at a Great Price....Highly recommend Los Serranos

Went out Saturday 4/23 and Greens have Completely healed from recent punching, Course is in excellent shape, saw the Beer Girl 3 or 4 times, pace was good for a Saturday morning a little bit less than 4 and 1/2 hours...Everyone there is on there game...worth the drive.

Went out today on my birthday, had a great time, thanks to the staff...The course is in excellent shape. finished round in less than 4 hours, look forward to the Birthday Round every year, everyone should take advantage of this, your guests get member pricing on the round and you get Lunch, range balls and Round with cart FREE on your birthday, it is a true Country Club experience at one of the Finest Public Courses in So Cal. Thanks to my boss for the afternoon off.
