Played on Monday 7/10. The course is in great shape. Fairways are green and cut short. Not too much rough here. Course slopes right to left on most holes. The greens are medium. I would have preferred faster greens. There are some animal damages on some of the greens about the size of a ball divot but much deeper. You can tell something was digging at those spots. We we waiting most of the time due to a slow group ahead of us. Overall, it was definitely worth the $58.

Played at 11:30 am on Friday 6/30. The course was playing slow. Had to wait on every hole. Tees and fairways were average. Number 10 fairway really needs some work. There were sprinklers that were turned on in a few spots on the course with no one manning them. If you hit your ball near those areas, you're out of luck. Don't let the reclaimed water get in your mouth. The greens were a little inconsistent and on the slow side. People just don't fix their ball marks. Common folks, have a little courtesy. Definitely not worth full price but ok with a discount.

Played Friday afternoon. Typical muni course as far as fairways and greens. Greens were a little slow but tricky. Local knowledge sure would help here. Some of the holes have spectacular ocean views. Definitely worth the money. I was surprised to get in a 4 hour round on a Friday afternoon.

Played here on Saturday 11/12. Brought a couple of beginners with me. This course was the only one around that we can get on. The customer service here is very good. The course condition is average at best. Some of the holes on this course play very difficult due to the river, especially when you don't really know where to hit safely. I discovered that in some areas, the safe landing area is only about 15 - 20 yards wide. The greens are decent. A little tricky because you have to hit your putt hard enough to get through some of the bumpy spots. Not a bad place to play if you want to get out last minute.

Played this course on 11/15. This was the last week of cart path only so the fairways were a little long. The greens are in good shape. A little faster than they look. This course is slowly getting better over the past couple of years. The staff is friendly. The beverage cart comes around every few holes. Definitely worth the money. Sad to say that San Juan Hills will not be part of the Golf Extra courses next year.

Play early if you want to finish in a decent time (4.5 hrs). After 1 pm, you are guaranteed a 5 hrs or more round.
