Played for first time (close to work), and was impressed for a muni. . Same as last review, had 7:00 tee, let us go at 6:45 as a two and saw nobody! for 5 holes until we caught up to another two . Any muni in o.c. would be backed up by then, maybe caught it at the right day(tues.) but finished in 3:45!!! The course was in good shape tee boxes, fairways, greens etc.. Visible changes being made to lenghthen short par 4's(250-285) on the tee boxes, but as is, the greens are well guarded w/ trees and bunkers for risk/ reward tee shots. Several reachable 5's and some elevated 3's . Overall great value, playing again next week to see if we were lucky with the crowd..I will let you know....

played on 5/7 and was amazed... course(ridge-creek),driving range, service and the clubhouse were top notch ( check out the mens restroom ). having played all the courses in the simi valley area, it would be hard to prove that this is not the best total experience out there. the courses were tough (had 15-20 mph wind this day) but not ridiculous. cant remember the last time i used a driver on a par 3(#9 on the ridge - 202 yds w/ wind in the face). tee to green - immaculate. if i play golf out there this will be stop #1.

Having played this course frequently 10 years ago, I was a dissapointed at what I saw. For the price it's still a great deal, and I agree w/ the other feedback on the efforts to improve the course. But most of efforts seem to be on the creek(bridges, irrigation etc..) and will always be an issue.. But the course; fairways(burn marks everywhere),Tee boxes(abused), greens(average) and the foliage/bugs seem out of control. The club house is extremely dated and range hasn't changed a bit. Again for the price you can't expect too much and all the old timers seem to like to hang out and have this course to themselves, but this is a great course (terrain/elevations) and with a little TLC and proper use of funds(and a little more$$) this could be a quality course. But all the necessary change would definetly bring higher fees- CATCH 22!!!!

Having never played the old skylinks, I enjoyed playing this one. The changes are obvious compared to the other LB muni's. The undulations and bunkering gave the course some character, but some of the greens were over done. Was looking for the windmill/clown mouth on a few of the them. Staff, clubhouse, landscaping all top notch for a muni. and worth the fee, especially if you walk it..

Course has seen better days... Staff trying to deal w/ recent heat , but course was soaked. Lots of ruts(carts),mud spots and ground under repair(sod patches). Greens were decent, fixed my ball mark and one extra(out of courtesy). PLEASE FIX YOUR MARKS/DIVOTS, IT'S PART OF THE GAME, PERIOD..!! Played at noon on a Fri. as a two, no one in front or back for 10 holes, awesome.. But I believe that was due to $110 fee, we played w/ 2 fer coupon so it was not as bad, but , with all the golf in so. cal is there a course worth $100+ weekday?? Have'nt seen one yet, this course included...

Played for the first time (good)Fri. Apr.14th ,and was impressed for a muni. Simple straight forward short layout, the fairways were tight and green and the rough was perfect for penalizing errant shots. Walked on at 6:30 as a twosome, put us w/one and finished in 3hr 45min.! Marshal was visible the entire round, and both snack bars open at 6:30!Will play again for sure...
