I played this course on 4/30 because of the Roger Dunn Birdie Card. The cart fee is $30 which makes this less than a great offer.

The course conditions were fair. The fairways are under repair because they are in the process of changing them to kukulya so there are large patches where they took out the nice grass and replaced it with kukulya. Since kukulya spreads like a weed, I'm sure it will take over the place within a year or so. For now, it's patchy, with some of the nicer grass still around the greens in the fringe and surrounding areas. The tee boxes were thin like everyone else is saying and the greens were pretty good, rolled true, too hard though and nothing to get excited about. Its a shame that this course is changing to kukulya, it will be like every other muni course out there but I understand that with the economy and water shortages that this is the way they have to go. I just won't pay what they're asking anymore to play this place. I'd rather drive a little and play nicer courses for less $. All in all I would rate my experience as a 5.0 out of 10. And, I used to have this as one of my favorites in the area. What a shame.
