Just want to give a shout out to the staff at San Dimas who went out of their way to help our group out. Very accommodating and professional; top notch! The course, on the other hand, was in typical winter shape, a far cry from when I played just a few months ago. The tee boxes were very beaten up, some with noticeably uneven lies (e.g. 16th tee). Fairways were thin and spotty with weeds and dirt patches through out. The greens were EXCELLENT. Medium-fast, held shots well and rolled TRUE! Very good condition. The bunkers were also EXCELLENT, full of soft sand. The only downside to the bunkers were that people were not raking them and as soft as they were, made some of the bunkers a mess. Pace of play was great at just over 4 hours and overall I enjoyed my round here as usual.

Played 12/30 morning. Before we teed off, the starter told us that the greens were not holding shots and he was right. Unless you were hitting shots way up with a steep descent angle (and w/spin), most of the approaches were rolling out. I also learned that the course was originally a 9 hole executive course, and hence the four par 3s on the front nine. That said, the course was in great shape. Fairways had good coverage, greens were hard and fast, rough was minimal, and bunkers had decent sand. Pace of play was great (both here and Santa Rosa). There's a huge practice green by the small clubhouse, but no range. For that, you have to go to Santa Rosa. The greens are MUCH larger than Santa Rosa and imo, a bit more challenging. There's a few holes with water in play and some minor carries off the tee. I think Mountain Vista is a great value and worth a visit when in the area.

Played a few rounds here last week, morning and afternoon. The course is in great condition: tee box, fairways, greens, rough, and bunkers. The greens were on the softer side and held shots well. Speed was medium. The fairways were WIDE and generous. I MEAN WIDE. That said, the greens are on the smallish side and decently protected so it was challenging enough. We played the golds, and it played like a 69.5/120 course. We got the black Friday Underpar deal, so it ended up being under $30/round (counting the free replay). If you're out in the desert area, definitely recommend.

Played Sunday afternoon. They had a tent set up where the old #1 blue tee used to be with some food available (hot dogs, etc.) along with some tables to sit and eat. The check in at the temporary pro shop (a trailer) was quick and smooth. The course is is good shape, especially the fairways. The greens were nice, medium-fast, but slightly bumpy. The bunkers had nice sand, the best shape I've seen in years. POP was slightly over 4 hours, with good spacing between tee times. One of the more enjoyable, reasonably priced public courses in the area. Recommend.

Course is in great shape. Greens have healed nicely from punching a few weeks ago and were rolling very nicely. Pace of play was great; no waiting to hit shots. The lady starting us off was super friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a play right now.

Played on 4/28, Monday morning around 7:00 a.m. Great service - friendly and professional. The course is good shape, on the verge of being in great shape. A few of the fairways have some spots that are still work in progress, but they are definitely an improvement over a couple of years ago, which is when I last played. The greens are in great shape right now; rolling fast and true. A great bargain if you are staying at the adjacent Worldmark resort. Definitely worth checking out.

What a difference a year makes. I haven't played Westridge for a while, but it is in good shape. The fairways, greens, bunkers, and tee boxes were all in good shape. I felt the rough was a little overgrown, over-penalizing shots that were just a bit off. The best part is that the marshals were active in keeping the pace of play moving. They were proactive in getting groups to keep pace! What a novel idea! Can't beat playing 36 holes on a nice course on a Saturday for less than $40! (underpar deal). Overall, great experience. Kudos to the management team. I will definitely be coming back soon.

Course is in good shape as other reviewers have noted. What stood out was that there weren't as many ballmarks as usual. Either people are getting better or it was a slow day. This course is about as player-friendly as it gets, with very few forced carries, and generous fairways. It's a golf course that's nice and enjoyable for all handicaps.

The service and amenities at Journey are first class. Unfortunately, the course was a bit disappointing. The conditions were good, but not as good as some earlier reviews seem to indicate (probably being middle of summer had something to do with it).

There were couple of holes that just felt too tricked up - oak tree in the middle of the fairway (not once, but twice) - why? Hole #6 with the 175 foot drop is visually stunning, but not a well designed hole. My partner's perfectly struck drive (~270 yards) got buried in the middle of the fairway; the ball was so plugged, you could barely see it; we just about missed it.

I don't think I will be coming back anytime soon.

Played 36 holes on Thursday, July 5. Course is in good shape; fairways were plush; greens were a bit beat up and looks like it get tons of play. Best combination of playability, good conditions, and value. Would play here all the time if it were closer.

Played here on Thursday 6/21 at 3:00. The course is in decent shape. The pace of play as noted by many other reviews, can be brutal. We were 3 deep waiting on the first par 3 and probably sat for over 30 minutes. Otherwise, the course is player friendly (parallel fairways means the occasional stray shot can be salvaged). As with most courses at this level, folks just don't fix their ball marks leaving some of the greens really beat up.

Played 12/28 morning. The course runs through a housing development; no parallel fairways. It's a nice layout; couple of elevated greens. I've always liked Curley/Schmidt designs and this didn't disappoint. The fairways are very generous; the rough was cut short and not overly penalizing. The only downside is that the greens were really marked up! From the looks of it, this course gets heavy play from the local retirement community. The last 5 holes were particularly aesthetically pleasing and fun to play. Definitely recommend as a good mid-priced course in the desert area.
