I played a tournament round with my traveling golf club on 8-6-05: Although my score was not very good, the course was in good shape. The fairways and green side bunkers were in great shape. The greens were good, but on the slow side... All in all; This course is one of the best values around and I would highly recommend playing it. Quite forgiving off the tee which the higher handicap player would appreciate; yet there is plenty of hazards and sloping greens for the lower handicap player. My personal tips: Hole #1: dont go left!!! IS OB. Hole #2: easy par 5. #4: It's longer to clear the bunkers on the right than it looks. #5: the lake IS DRIVABLE!!! (I rolled into it with a well hit 3 wood). #8, 9 & 10: Stay below the hole on the green. #13: par 3 that plays one club longer. #14: easy par 5, but 2 tiered green. # 16: par 3 that is 1/2 club shorter. #18: tough desicion off the tee; there is a waste bunker all the way down the right, but can easily go through the fairway if you stay left of it.
