Played the course in the morning.
The tee boxes were inconsistent. But overall OK.
The fairways were in good condition-good amount of grass under the ball. Probably the best fairway I've seen this year on a Muni. course.
Greens were in a good condition considering it was punched about 3 weeks ago. It rolled true and consistent. I think there were about 4 greens which were noticeably slower than others.
The bunkers were in a good condition with lots of sand in them. however, due to cold, overcast day and watering, it was little heavy.
Finished in 4.25 hours with no waiting.

Played yesterday as a foursome- 12:30.
The course was somewhat empty. Maybe people are staying away due to cart path const. and recent punching. The fairways were in most part in good condition for a city course. Eventually, I'd like to see them touch up around the new cart path and repair bare dirt spots on the fairways. The greens are recovering nicely. A little bumpy and slower putts will be affected by the new growth. However, even with a revised tee box on some of the holes, the course is very playable. 4.5 hours.

Played the course in a tournament yesterday.
The tee boxes were in a fair to good shape.
The fairways were in a very poor shape due to lack of watering. About half of the fairways were fenced off to play cartpath only. I'm assuming it's due to preventing further damage to the already dry, bare and hard pan fairways. Also, like the recent reviewer's post, the fairway runs, rolls hard. Playing from the white tees on the par4's left me only 100 yards to the green for my second shot when it's usually a 130 shot. I was forced to hit a knock down shot off the hard fairway all day. It was 80* and saw no watering or any indication of recent watering o the fairway.
The greens were in good condition. Still looks and rolls little bumpy due to punching about 4 weeks ago. Overall good.
The bunkers were in a pretty bad condition. I find the bunkers consistently and similarly bad throughout LA's public course. SF is no different. I take it as a LA thing. It was consistently hard pan under only about 2 inches of sand.
You can get picture of the course condition. I really like the layout and the beautiful course setting. It's really unfortunate to let this pretty, fun course go by lack of watering and maintenance.
I would say a little more water and letting the grass grow out on the fairways should help a lot.
