Golf Course Reviews: California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Utah, Florida, Hawaii!Have played here 3 times in the last few days (36 one day) All of the SC Grand courses are in pretty darn good shape with the exception of their bunkers, sand is absolutely terrible. Interesting layout, good par threes. All these area courses are quality layouts. Desert springs is rated the easiest but I have had two of my highest scores here! If you are looking for a playable, nice course, you found it. Played for $15 after 11:00 everyday!

Loved it! Will be back again if I'm in the area.
We played on a day the the temp never got about 55 and was quite windy(January 12th) Really enjoyed it, excellent condition tee to green-those darn greens! Be closer then 30 feet or expect a 3 putt! I think it's a great layout. Plenty of room in the fairways, but you still have to place the ball on many holes. Tough par 5's, especially the greens. Watch the 15th hole, may be a lay-up for many players short of the trap you see, or you need to go just right of it about 260 max. Many great holes, great scenery. 17 is a round breaker if you are not careful, no room for error when it's windy. I would rank this in my top 5 along with We-Ko-Pa, Eagle Ridge, The Devil's Paintbrush, and Hunter's Pointe in Canada. It's a must play.
Four stars plus! Fantastic condition, pace of play was reasonable and this is as good a layout as you can find, especially for the money. This is one of my top 3 in the country, play it for sure! Only complaint is that the fairway traps have too much sand in them, not bad if the ball trickles in, but I had a fairway wood shot plug in one and had to pitch out sideways.
A nice layout. Greens looked terrible with ball marks, but putted great, really good speed and would hold a shot nicely. Strange thing, the rough was green and the fairways brown.? Not a very nice surface to hit from or appealing as far as picking a target from the tee.
Fun course to play, but hope you don't start on the back nine like we did! The four toughest holes are there to start! I did not like some of the holes that were "lay up " holes, mostly because I was too lazy to investigate the hole or ask more questions. Very fast greens and there were some terrible pin placements for a Monday. Was also very windy. A good golf course with some room on a few of the holes, but pin placements can make it not so fun as we found out. Excellent condition and great greens as far as reception and putting.
