Rustic is the best course in the LA/Ventura area for the money and just the course itself. A must play. Greens are great and fairways are wide

Great course for the money. Links style with a great layout....Probably gets pretty hot in summer but I played it at the end of march. A challenge from any tee box, it was pretty empty when I played...great fairways and putting was not to bad....A must if your in the San Diego area

Worth playing, rough was thick, not enough yardage markers, needs gps with maps of holes, cart girl, but def worth playing

I enjoyed playing this course and it was well worth the 38.00 dollars we got it for. good layout with nice holes and a fairways with a lot of room. If your in the area or just driving past it, its worth stopping. Here are some things that I feel need to be changed on the golf course. First, the rough is very thick and hard to advance the ball. Second, not enough yardage markers, def need a lot more. Finally, we did not have a cart attendent to buy food or drinks, beside that, if i was passing through, i'd play it again.....one more thing, where some bug spray.

worht playing but not for 150.00, probably 100.00 or less, we payed 75.00 for twilight and it was worth it. Some elevated tee's with great views...

Journey is a great course and well manicured. Not worth 150.00 but we played twilight with little wind and payed 75.00...saw a bobcat on the 7th hole and it ran away. A must play if your in the area or on your way to San Diego....staff is nice and food is good..

for the money, the best course in the country. For the course itself, still a fantastic course and different then most. A challenge everytime you play, a must if your playing golf anywhere in the area

Played this week and I knew I was in trouble after hitting it 290 down the middle of the fairway of #1 and its all brown with lots of divots. Not any grass to pick that ball cleanly. VERY thin lies and very difficult to chip or get spin. Its a nice track to walk and great people working there. Give it till june so the fairways can recover, thats my recommendation.

A great course. The greens were punched at the end of september and they are rolling true and fast now(10-17). Fairways are in great shape compared to all other courses in the area. Great staff!!
