Course is in good condition with the exception of the greens IMO. The Clubhouse/Restaurant and customer service are all top notch. However, most of the greens have some sort of infestation. The greens have different types of grasses growing on them. I'm not an agronomist, but my guess is either poa anna or some sort of fungus is taking over the greens. The result was that there are dark and light patches on the greens and the smoothness and speed is unpredictable. For the price that you pay at Desert Willow, I was expecting much better green conditions.

If you're looking for a solid golf course and practice area with good value, Eagle Falls is it. Just played here today after playing Desert Willow - Fire Cliff yesterday. I can say that the course at Eagle Falls is in better condition and a better value for golf. Not much of a clubhouse/restaurant bar scene here, but since its a part of the Fantasy Springs Casino I'm guessing that's where one can go to get a quality meal and cocktails. For the pure golf experience, it exceeded all expectations.

The main reason for the low scores on the green conditions is because they were aerated 2 weeks ago. There is still enough top dressing (sand) on the greens to slow them down and make them bumpy. Would've been nice to know this ahead of time. Especially since they charged full price. Nothing is posted on their maintenance calender online.

The green complexes have plenty of undulation and collection areas with thin lies. Like the renovations done, but again would've appreciated some notice on the aerated greens or a discounted green fee.

Course is in overall excellent condition. The only mark down was for 3-4 fairways that had landing areas under repair. The pace of play on Friday & Saturday rounds was 4 & 4.5 hrs. A great course design with great playing conditions. Wish it wasn't such a drive to get out there.

Fairway condition update. The fairways are spotty ranging from well manicured to bare dirt. I'd say 80% is well manicured with spotty areas in the fairway making up 10-20% being thin to dirt areas. There are also spotty areas of rough that are bare dirt or overgrown rough. A few fairways had roped off areas where they are re-growing the grass. With that being said, the course is in overall good condition with great greens and tee boxes. We paid $67 to tee off at 9:30 on a Friday. In my opinion it is slightly overpriced considering the condition of the fairways/rough, but couldn't complain considering the excellent greens and updated carts incl gps

Course is in overall great condition and very green. However, you should know all the tee boxes are being reworked. They've been recently seeded and they are allowing the grass to grow several inches high. The greens are thick and lush and play a little on the slower side. POP at midday on a Tuesday was 3 hrs. Overall good experience and worth the green fees.
