I think the staff are feeling like they can't do anything wrong. The great complements are because of the conditions and design of the course. I just got a couple of days off and called to see if there were any tournaments this week and was blown off like they don't want any more play. I just wanted to walk on as a single for Thursday and Friday.
Let's see, I play La Purisima about six or seven times a year. With motel and green fees and breakfast or lunch at the cafe, which is always great by the the way, its about $150.00+ per day. I've always wrote great things about this course here on greenskeeper but WOW I'm hurt. Nothing pleases me more then 36 holes at La Purisima but the staff better get it together.

WOW!! Has to be in the Top 5 courses in Southern CA. Played 6/24 36 Holes Great breakfast at the cafe, the Pro shop staff were super. Topped off a 3 day golf marathon with Dinner at the Hitching Post. I'm not sure it really happened.

WOW!! Great track. Played 6/21, 36 Holes Blue Tees first then Blacks in the afternoon. One to two club wind in the afternoon. Worth the drive from Lompoc. Great food and the Pro shop is well stocked.

WOW! Excellent, Died and went to Heaven, Great staff, Nice price too. Played 36 and wanted more.
