Played 1/2/09. I always enjoy playing here. It was a typical day at Simi Hills in January. Mid-70s, blowing 20mph, greens were fast, course conditions were respectable, lots of evidence that they are working on the course. Pace was really slow, but was expected with a 11:48 tee time. Got off a few minutes late, finished with just enough light. Cost $54, though, on the border of too much for what you get. Rather go spend that money at Rustic Canyon.

Played 12/31 for my first time there. Froze our fingers off with a 7:46 time, but warmed up nicely for the 2nd nine. Nice layout, but not worth $55.

Played 5/21, off at 6am and already the 12th group off. Play was surprisingly reasonable at about 4.5 hours. Greens were very slow at first and became faster towards the end, needs to be mowed shorter I think. Tee box grass was "mushy", not watered down, just the grass was spongy. I've played 3 of the 4 SFV city courses and they've all been similar....definitely worth the price.

Played Sunday 3/26 for the first time. Played in 4 hrs. Pleasantly pleased with the conditions considering it is a muni course and cheap. Greens in decent shape, fairways so-so. Nice wide open layout. Led to a new personal best score!

Played 7/16. Teed off about 12:15 and finished about 5:30. Long round. Not too hot with a nice breeze. Lots of shade and I stayed in it! More trees than I am used to. Greens a little bumpy. But overall, this is a beautiful public course. Has enough terrain features to keep it interesting.
