Played here on Saturday, Nov. 2. We teed off about 20 minutes later than our scheduled tee time. I was worried about the condition of the course based on previous reviews but it wasn't bad at all. I guess coming in with lower expectations was the thing. The fairways were good, some thin areas but overall very good for the amount of play it gets. The greens were surprisingly great, smooth and rolled well. The tee boxes were 50/50, some beat up and some decent. POP was slow at 5 hours but it is to be expected on any public course on a weekend. At least the marshall kept updating us why it was slow and he was trying to push them (the threesome in front of us). My buddies and I were getting together after not seeing each other for a while so it didn't bother us because we were just enjoying the golf day. Overall, it was a good experience and I would go back there again soon.

Played here on Friday, Nov 1. The course is in decent shape. I always love the lay out and how challenging the course is for me. The fairways were dry and thin but still playable. Lots of roll. Rough was short and not penalizing. The greens were dry and quick. They still rolled well but just fast. The only reason why i didn't enjoy that day is that the round took 5.5 hours!! I didn't expect that on a Friday morning. First we were sent out 30 mins later than our scheduled tee time. I don't know where the slow down occurred in front but the marshall was there driving around and didn't say much. The group behind us kept hitting into us without a fore or an apology. So much for golf etiquette. Was not a enjoyable experience for my wife who played the course the first time. She doesn't want to go back there again.

Played 1/29/11, great weather! Fairways were filled with bald hard pans...great for getting extra distance for your drives, not so much when hitting your next shots. Looks like they were starting to repair some fairways though. Rough was short so very forgiving and easy to play from. Greens were decent with the normal unfix ball marks, what do you expect from a cheap crowded course. Guys at the shop were very friendly and easy going, gets a big plus there. Green fee is fairly cheap so its your call whether you go for inexpensive round or great course. But 2 words sums up my round that day...SIX HOURS!!!!

Played the course on 05/01. Course conditions were good with the exception of the greens. I'm not sure whether it was because it was late in the afternoon but the green surfaces were like golf balls. Putts were definitely not rolling true. I enjoy this track and pace of play was good, finished in 4.5 hours. Some bald spots on the fairways but its to be expected on a high mileage public course. Overall it was still a fun day, just need to roll those greens flat.

Played yesterday afternoon and the greens were HORRIBLE! All the green surfaces where like golf balls...dimples everywhere! From talking to the people there, these greens were not even recently aerated like i assumed but no maintenance done for weeks. Unforgivable to charge full price for that condition. It's sad because I enjoyed the course layout and the conditions of the fairways and bunkers were above decent. Pace of play was awful too, took us the full 5 hours to finish the round on a Thursday!!?? No marshalls in sight. Don't think I will play here again.

Played this course for the first time today. Normally avoid this course due to the price but got a decent price on golfnow and had time on my hands. The layout on this course is decent. A good mix of wide and narrow fairways, water hazards and undulating greens as well as flat open holes. The greens were soft and ran a little slow but it was also early in the morning so they were still pretty damp. The one thing I was disappointed on were the fairways. Lots of bald spots. Definitely not worth the rates, public munis had better fairways than these. By the way, they were starting to aerate several holes so beware if you plan to play here on the weekend. Hopefully thats a sign that they will be improving soon. The tee boxes were also uneven. Not sure if i would play here again. If the fairways improve maybe.
