i have played moorpark 3 times now and have had three very different experiences. to me that is the mark of a good golf course.
yes two, maybe three of the par threes are similar in design but hole 6 and hole 9 are solid golf holes especialy from the back markers. with greens that are ultra pure and rival robinson ranch and lost canyon for speed, i don't see how you can go wrong. yes it does have an easy par four (14) , but after #s 12 and 13 a driveable par four is fun and if you hook it left into the hazard you make six. great greens and good conditions. this is a course that you can really score well on but it can also bite you in the butt.
