Played on 1/25. Im not sure I have ever played a course in such good shape. The fairways were perfect, the rough was even with no bare spots and the greens rolled amazing. The only gripe, and it would be knit picking, is the bunkers were a little firmer then I would like but it was no different then most of the other courses in the Palm Springs area. I cant comment on POP because I was in a tournament. This course ate my cookies yesterday but it didnt stop me from enjoying the day.

I played on 10/18 in an Amtour tournament. The course was in great shape after the overseeding. The greens have healed nicely, fairways were in great shape and I didnt notice any problems with the tee boxes. I wasnt in the sand at all for the day but they appeared to be in good shape as well. The rough was the main defense on the course that day. It was playing pretty nasty but in a good way. I had a few short sided shots sitting down in that greenside rough and it is a grind to get up and down. The staff was great, its always a pleasure playing here.

I played in a tournament on 9/19. The course was in pretty close to perfect shape, the rough obviously doesnt come into play because there really isnt any. Tee boxes were great, I was in two bunkers and they were nice to play out of. The greens were in great shape, as were the fairways, which is kind of surprising for this time of year. I always find that this course gets me using every club in the bag and takes driver out of your hand on a few holes, which is good.

The range was in good shape and I really like the short game area. It was tough to find a flat putt on the putting green though. While its not my favorite course at PGA West, I dont think I have ever not enjoyed playing this course.

Walked on as a single 7/10 at 3:30 in the afternoon and pretty much had the course to myself until I caught a group on 15. I finished in just under 3 hours. From the pro shop to the cart girl to the marshall cruising the course, the staff were all very friendly.

The tee boxes were level for the most part. The fairways were lush and great to hit off of, for how soft they felt I was suprised with the amount of roll out I was getting. The rough was consistent throughout the course, I seemed to be in it by every green and I never found a patchy spot. I only found one bunker, it was little firm but still playable. The greens were pretty soft but still ran pretty smooth, a bit on the slow side but still enjoyable.

I will definitely make my way back to this course when I make my annual trip to Tahoe. I think the courses biggest defense is the wind. If you arent used to the altitude it can screw with you too. I almos forgot to mention the wildlife. There were deer everywhere, it made for an enjoyable round.

Played 1/11. Got in a round, in just under 4 hours on a Sunday. Staff as always were great. Greens are in the condition you would expect for this time of the year. Fairways werent soaked like they had been in the past. The tee boxes dont have all the weeds they had a couple of months ago, but a lot of them were still unlevel. Overall the course is in good shape and worth the greens fees.

Played on Sunday 12/28 for the first time. Got in the round in just over 4 hours. Tee boxes were in great shape, greens were awesome and the layout makes for a fun round. My main problem was with the staff. The lady at the starters window was rude and made for one of the most uncomfortable first holes I have ever played. She managed to piss off the whole group. She actually stood behind me while I teed off. I found most of the staff to be unpleasent here, except the cart girl of course.

Played Sunday morning 11/23.We teed off a few minutes behind, but not too big of a deal. The tee boxes were a little uneven, but the course was in overall good shape. A few spots were under repair, which seems normal given the time of year. A few complaints, get a cart girl on the weekends, I didnt see one the whole time and I was getting thirsty. Second, dont let 5 somes out on a weekend when there is a ton of people waiting to tee off. Third, those GPS need an upgrade, you cant read the screen if the sun is in your face or if your wearing polarized glasses and they are just not what you would expect from a course at this price range.

The greens seem to be back to normal now after being punched. The course was in pretty good shape for what it is. They have let the ruff grow a little which makes for more of a challenge.

Teed off first thing in the morning on 9/7, started on time and the pace of play was normal. The tee boxes were pretty beat up, uneven with some sort of weed growing all over them. The fairways were way past over watered, my ball was sitting in a puddle on the fairway of the first hole. With that being said, I still had a great a great time and it was worth the weekend rate. Its just kind of sad that it went from being such a well kept course to what it is now.

Played here on 8/11. Nice to know that they still let 5 somes out as I had the privilege being behind one. The marshall sat there and watched me wait for 15 minutes on a tee box and said nothing. The bunkers were rock hard but other then that it was still enjoyable. Ive found myself going here more now that LA city courses raised their rates.

Some of the views were worth the greens fees alone. The 16th through 18th scenery was awesome. They cut their fairways way too short. For 235 bucks I was expecting a lot more. Overall I would go back again for the scenery more than the golf. Watch out for the coyote cut outs, theyll sneek up on you.
