Golf Course Reviews: California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Utah, Florida, Hawaii! One of my favorite courses, I play here often. However, over the last year the flippin' COOTS have taken over and begun to ruin the 18th hole. This is just ridiculous! The course needs to take some action and eradicate these pests. They are no different than rats or cockroaches...take some action or they will slowly ruin this course and it will affect our willingness to come back. I'm tired of having to wade through coot crap and have it get all over my shoes and clubs.

The winter rainy spell has been good! The course was in great shape. My first time here; it was intimidating at first due to the length and fairly narrow fairways. Once you decide not to be greedy and take what the course will give you, you can score well. My back nine was 10 strokes better than my front! Very beautiful course, like walking in a park. Definitely worth the fee, but bring a strong, straight game.
Played for the first time in 6 months. Had read how the course had been severely dried out for reseeding. It has definitely come back. Overall the course is in really nice shape. The course is challenging, bordering on tricky on some holes, but if you hit it fairly straight you can score. Greens have enough undulation to keep the putting challenging as well. If you are playing well, you will enjoy this track, if not it could make for a long day. The new owners are working hard to make this a quality facility and seem to be doing that. Conditions are the best I've played in the 5 times I've played here. The scenery of the course winding through the old quarry is enjoyable and striking in certain areas. Overall, we had a good, enjoyable round at a course in very good shape at this time.
Overall a fun track. Requires you keep the ball straight and prior knowledge of the course will help with shot selection. Pace of play was below average with several slow groups ahead of us. Marshalls did not manage this issue. Course condition was very good from tee to green. Greens were in excellent shape with aeration completed over a month ago. Tee boxes were just being done the day we were there. I enjoyed the course and the value was good. I will be back to play again. If you can manage the drive to San Jacinto this one is worth playing every few months.
The course is in fair shape. Greens generally pretty good, no bare spots or disease. Fairways have many dry, hard and bare spots. If you miss the fairways, you will be hitting from hardpack dirt. Bunkers were very hard. Staff is very nice and helpful. First time I played here. Might try again in the winter when rains might help conditions. Fun layout and sneaky long.
