Played Moorpark this morning. Course is in good shape right now. Greens are medium fast and in nice condition. Tee boxes are flat and in good condition. The rough was a little wet today with the showers, but it was pretty predictable being about 2 to 2.5" in most places. Bunkers were a little wet, but plenty of sand and nicely groomed. I like this course a lot. Takes a good day of ballstriking to score well, especially when Creekside is one of the nines you play. Disagree completely with previous post about 20 yd fairways and snobby members. Fairways aren't that thin and members have always been very friendly, unless of course you're playing at 4 hr pace when you can play here during the week in the morning in 3 to 3.5 hr no sweat. To each their own I guess, but in my opinion golf wasn't meant to played in a wide open flat field where there's little chance of failure. It's supposed to be difficult to score well. That's why so few people shoot low scores.

Played on Saturday, March 14th. Staff very friendly. We went out right on our 11:40 tee time. Didn't wait on any hole for more than one minute. Course was in great shape. Fairways were lush and the greens were immaculate. Tough to putt and a little slow, but they held a shot really well. Like the course a lot. Not the most difficult, but very fun to play. I will definitely play here again. Really nice bar and restaurant for that after round cocktail.

Played here on Oct 4th. Course was absolute dog crap. The greens were so bad putting was a joke. For $100 I should have stayed in the hotel and spent my money on Keno. Will never play here again. Ever.

Played on Oct 5th. Got off early (7:50 am) and were never held up. Things were top notch. Starter kept a good line on the pace and there was a marshal moving things along all the time. Course was in very good condition. Greens were smooth and rolled well. Not a super difficult course, but very fun for a Vegas weekend. I will be back.

Played 7/19. 1st time here. Course was in very good shape. Greens were smooth and in good shape. Rough here is very tough. You must keep in the fairway. There are 3 or 4 holes that are hard to tell where you're going, e.g. down hills, around a corner, over brush, etc. so playing here a few times would be a plus. Nice experience.

Played on Sunday 7/20 with friends from Arizona. 1st time I've played this course and it was great. Although it was misty and a little wet on the front 9, it got beautiful in the pm. Really great holes along the ocean. Greens were really tough. Have to stay below the hole to score. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very good experience.

Played the course on 3/24 in the morning. Not a breeze, warm, and absolutely perfect golf weather. Course was in excellent condition. The layout is very good overall although two par 3s in a row on the front is a bit unusual. I really liked the back nine. The staff was excellent. You have to get a ride to the driving range OR turn off Hermosa one street ahead of the course and the street goes right down to it.

Beautiful course. Golf course was in excellent condition. Greens were very true and quick. Fairways were lush. My only complaint about anything here was the pin location on four holes that were located on the slope instead of just above it or below it. On one occasion resulted in a putt from below the hole being missed but rolling back in from above. Otherwise very good experience.

Played on 9/29. Very nice course. What I didn't like was the overwatering on what seemed like every hole. Lot of hills so you're either hitting uphill or downhill on a lot of shots. Some of them very steep hills. No GPS so distance was somewhat hard to judge. Probably have to play here a few times to get the feel for it. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Love this course! Played it on 9/30 in absolutely perfect weather conditions. It's been a year since I played here and it is just as good as I remember. Extremely fast greens that don't hold, but they are very true and smooth as glass. Fairways are a little thin in spots, especially on the front. You must play the front of the green on every hole if you want to stay on. I think the layout is excellent and the staff was very friendly.

Played on both 10/21 & 10/22. Excellent layout. Some very challenging and really beautiful holes. Pretty new so the fairways are a little thin and the greens are very hard. Staff was very friendly and the pace of play was about 4.5 hr. on both days.

Played on Tuesday at 4 pm. Course is in good shape except the greens on 12 & 17. Both really bumpy and seem to have fungus or something on them. Got around in 3.5 hr. Good value at $45, but really hate that they quit the 5th round free program for non-members.
