Had a great round in Ojai today. The course was in great shape, the fairways were just soft enough to hit from but firm enough to give a good roll. The greens were just a tad slow (probably due to the early morning fog) but rolled very true. The greens held the shots well. The bunkers were smooth and played great. The service was as always friendly and warm. With friendly staff and great scenery Soule Park is worth the drive.

Played a twilight ten holes today and the course is recovering from nicely from some late season storms that destroyed some trees and left some fairways in bad shape (the fairway in #7 and short of the green on #9 still have some ground under repair). Other than that the fairways seemed to be lush with the occasional bare spot.....slightly better than average for this time of year. All in all the course is in typical spring time condition with the exception of the greens which seem to be in better shape and running smoother than usual. The service as usual was quite friendly and nice.

Played the North course on Tuesday 8/11. The marshall said they are under a stage two water alert and were only watering tee boxes, greens and fairways. I found that to be inconsistent at best. Many areas around the greens were bare dirt and many times I drove through very lush areas of rough that had obviously been receiving ample water. I was extremely unhappy with the conditions and will not return. Absolutely not worth the price. Aside from the conditions the course has a very fun layout and the staff were fantastic.

drove up to Ojai from Camarillo today and it was a very enjoyable day. The staff at Soule Park are very friendly and welcoming. The course was in good condition and the greens were great as usual. It was a very busy day there and our group finished in about 4.5 hours.

4/22 I played 9 holes today and the course is in fine condition. The greens are a just a little on the slow side but not by much. Fairways are top notch, as always. Excellent service is the norm, worth every penny.

course is starting to look better, lots of ground under repair. The back tees are a nice additions.
