Played Tues 4/17 9:30 tee time, last group of the Seniors Men's club, 2 members and I as a guest. Course was in great shape.

Tee boxes fairly level, a couple divots here and there, the fairways were lush, like carpets, with an occasional un-sanded divot from earlier groups, greens were lush and quick. The rough was not easy to get out of so I hit irons to get back in play. Bunkers were disappointing, hard pan with little sand.

Customer Service as always was outstanding. Can't beat the ambiance of the course, and the views.

Overall, the course is great. even with punched greens they rolled quick.

On the Ike with the clubbers Sunday morning with a surprising 4.5 hr PoP. Gorgeous day on the Hill: they overseed here at IH and what a difference compared to other courses I've played recently ... very green everywhere. While not perfect due to some landing and shady areas that have thin cover, the Ike is in about as good as shape as you'll find anywhere in LA right now, public or private. Not cheap to play on the w/e (C-note) but visually stunning and what a test this course can give ... hard to score if you're not on your game, especially reading and executing approach shots and greens.

Putts rolled really nice today, medium speed but when they can cut them tight you better watch out. Only complaint was a few GS bunkers were very firm and difficult to play from (#12 left bunker comes to mind). Rough cut to 1-2" so no issues there.

Pricey but still very much recommended for a true test of golf.

Played 1.4.2017. The course was pristine, emerald green -- the fairways looked in Open qualifying condition. Kudos to the maintenance staff, but it is also attributable to an increased number of "Cart paths only on this hole" requests. Okay, annoying as it sometimes is to us cart potatoes, the added exercise makes it worth it given the beauty of the course. The greens were fast and a reminder of how true a test is the art of putting. I'm always surprised that those who stick to the circuit of L.A. courses, don't travel to Industry to play. Mornings, the traffic from downtown is non-existent, once you clear the 10/110 intersection. The 5 to the 60 is is a little slow, but picks up quickly. By the way, the Babe is in similar condition. Can't remember if I rated it numerically -- an 8+

Back to back rounds on the Ike this past weekend (12/9 & 10). Course in very good condition, tee to green. Rough has been cut, fairways open to cart traffic on most all holes but 4, 6, & 17 plus the par 3's. Greens are semi-soft in the AM but firm up quick, still holding a decently struck shot. Tricky on the speed, especially downhill chips which can run out if you're not uber precise. Ventured into a couple FW bunkers which were well maintained as were the GS bunkers. Some thin areas were found in the shady side of the fairways, so you had to pick 'em clean. Overall, a great challenge on the Ike if you want to test your game. Recommended, but pricey. PoP was around 5 hrs or less each day.

Played on 11/26 as a twosome. Still CPO. Course is green, lush, and in great shape. Hitting from the fairways is a pleasure, and they do still offer some roll. The rough is ridiculous and needs to be mowed. I can't stand losing balls 2 feet off the fairway, and CPO doesn't help. Also, no one is fixing their divots because the sand is all the way back on the cart, so the perfect fairways are rapidly taking a beating. The greens were in good shape, rolling at a quick yet friendly pace, but still too many people fail to repair their ball marks. It was a very foggy day so the bunkers were a little damp, but in great shape.

Overall, Ike is a joy. Paid $90 through GolfNow, which I think was a CPO/aeration special (but don't worry, the greens are back to normal). Better than the regular weekend rate, but nothing beats that Monday Madness for $60. Love this place and I'll be back soon enough.

Saturday 8AM shotgun on the Ike with the Men's club ... match play for a frozen bird. Fun and very slow (5.5hr) round of golf but when playing with friends it makes the time pass much easier. Just out of overseed so everything is so green and very full, especially the rough: very deep and penal. Lost a couple balls just because we couldn't find them. Also, it's CPO for another week. Anyway, greens were soft enough to hold most any decent iron and rolled true at medium speed. In a couple bunkers which had good sand, easy to play from, but watch out for rocks. Great day of golf on the Hill and will be back for more soon. A course where you must keep it in the fairway or lose a stroke (or a ball). Recommended, but pricey.

Hello all. Just played Industry Hills (IKE) today (10-20-2017). I have known from past players about this course that it is really nice and tough to play. Hitting my ball into the first bunker was a super start (not).

Bunkers have soft sand and easy to hit out of. The bunkers for the entire course were very well maintained. Tee boxes on majority of the course (16 of the 18 holes) are being worked on. The grass has seed like fertilizer (A little distracting).

All the fairways (front and back 9) had dying brown grass. Hard to hit off of but manageable. The best part of the course were the greens. Very well maintained and taken care of. Very clean, a couple of divots from golfers, but overall very nice.

Some issues I saw with this course was the maintenance crew conditioning the fairways with the machines/carts and have no decency to stop or turn them off in order for us to enjoy hitting the ball to the green. It was to a point that they went right over my ball with no regard. Even while putting on the green they continued to work (Very frustrating).

Another personal issue I had was the avalability to drive the carts on majority of the fairways to retrieve your ball and/or hit your next shot. The price should be altered to this condition as if your walking the course.

Overall this course is amazing to play and the view is spectacular.

Played in a Saturday morning tournament (7/22). Conditions were hot and humid. Fairways and greens are showing wear from the summer weather, with some brown / dirt areas. Around noontime, the greenskeepers actually watered the greens on a couple of holes in front of us. Tee boxes are showing some wear as well. The unpredictable kikuyu rough has been thankfully cut low. They did have two beverage carts going around the course, which was appreciated under the hot conditions.

I had forgotten just how long the Ike plays. The four par 4s over 400 yards from the white tees really challenged the high handicappers in our tournament. Customer service is excellent, giving a resort feel to the course. Industry Hills remains a gem in the San Gabriel Valley, hopefully we get some milder weather to help it out.
