Love the layout. Greens were SLOW - even in the summer, they shouldn't be that slow! Fairways and rough were good. Tees were OK...many uneven spots.

Played an SCGA One Day event here on Friday 6/17. The course was in excellent condition. The greens were a little slower than I remember them being here at "Ike".
They have cleared a lot of the hillsides around the course, so that errant shots can be found and played, which helps to keep things moving. Unfortunately, the SCGA expanded this event from 80 golfers to 128 golfers. Hello 6 hour round!
Long round aside, I enjoyed my round at Industry Hills and will be back sooner than later.

Both of these courses are in the best shape that I've seen them in, in 3 yrs. $40 twighlight pace of play was fine.

Played Thursday, 5/19, at 10:30. Finished the round in just over 4 hours. The overall condition of the course is good. The greens rolled good with medium/fast speed with decent hold on good shots. The fairways were good with a few minor thin spots. The rough was good with few thin spots. The bunkers were fair to good. The sand is decent quality and a bit compacted but playable. The Tee boxes are good.

The course design was enjoyable with a nice variety of holes. Many of the holes play up or down hill. The GPS on the carts is very nice. Color screen with yardages to bunkers, water, and other key spots. Don't get cart within 20 yards of green or the cart will slow to a crawl. There is a large mats only driving range across the entrance road. There is also a putting green close tho the first hole of each course. The staff was friendly.

Got out today for super twilight ($44) and got around in 2.5 as there was no one there. I agree with previous review statements but I did find the greens (while nice) to be a skosh slow. And the bunkers need work (IMO) as they seem very compacted. Customer service excellent at all levels. Tee boxes and fairways were fantastic. Great course and great value (at S T) only wish I could do this every afternoon.

I played in an SCPGA Event at the Ike on Wednesday, May 4th. I want to start off by saying that the tourney crew for the SCPGA did an exceptional job and created a really fun event and time. If you get a chance to play in something they host, I highly recommend it.

I hadn't played Industry Hills in over 25 years so I didn't remember anything about the course at all (except the tram up the hill, which is now closed and has this really cool overgrown look to it...). We played the white tees which had us around 6,300 yards I believe. We did play a scramble so I didn't get the full effect of the layout, but that being said, I absolutely LOVE this place. There isn't a throw away hole on the course and I can only imagine how difficult it would be from the tips and blues. The course has everything I love including elevation change,mature trees, different ways to approach the same hole, etc. I can't wait to come back and play my own ball here.

As for the conditions, absolutely incredible. This is by far the most lush, pure course I've played in SoCal this year outside of the desert and Rams Hill. The greens had a recent sanding but it didn't affect putts much and I'd say in 5 days to a week they are going to be so pure.

I don't know what the rates are out there right now, but if I paid in the $100-$125 range I would totally feel like I was getting good value for my dollar.

Out on the Ike on a Friday afternoon, Guest Day on the Hill, PoP just around 4:45 with a bit of waiting behind a slower group, but with friends so fun was had. Course in very good shape, tee to green. Warmer weather has the fairways and greens a little on the firm side so there was a lot of runout to factor into your tee and approach shots, but mostly great lies with only a few areas in need of TLC (and those were roped off as GUR). Greens rolling real nice, semi-quick and more so above the hole. Bunkers had dry, fine sand ... at least the few I visited. All in all, very enjoyable round but it's not cheap here. We paid $85 and that included range balls and a tasty buffet dinner afterward. We even won some $ in the raffle which helped defer the green fees. Cool.

Out on the Ike this morning for a practice with Brookside. 5 hours round with some waiting, mostly on the front ... the back moved fairly smooth. Fairways are in great shape after overseed with some damp, thin areas to avoid ... you'll see this condition consistently in the shady sections, especially on the front nine. Greens were great, true and medium speed (except downhillers, they were quick).

Nice set up today, everything looking green and full. A strong contrast to many of the Muni's I've played recently. Not cheap, I know, but even our guests commented on how green the course was today.

Played a club tourney on the Ike Sunday morning, got around in 5 hours. Greens and overseeded fairways are in very good shape right now, much better than last month. Speed of the greens was medium but real quick on those downhillers, gotta be ever so careful. Bunkers still have those pesky rocks but the sand is fine and getting through is no problem. Some thin areas in the rough to watch for ... no standing water but some high shots could plug in some of the softer landing areas. Most all fairways were open to cart traffic, sans #4 and 17. Overall, the Ike is now ready for golf thru winter and spring. Should be in good shape from here until summer. Costing a C-note on the weekends, though, so not cheap by no means.
