I played Arroyo Trabuco today and fell like this course is on track to be a really great deal. It has the layout and the price is right. The combo of price and the condition of the golf remeinds me of Rustic Canyon. Finally, an OC golf course that is affordable and in championship form.

Played 12/9,course is in great shape, a fun layout with some holes easy and some tough. A good test, in a tourny, staff was very helpful. A fun day, we will go back.

Except for the 5 1/2 hours it took to play, everyone in the group loved this course. (First time for the other three people) The condition was very good, and the layout of the course is wonderful. Well priced! Maybe the other "high-end" tracks should take a look at this course and take the cue that more expensive isn't always better.

Great track, very firm as it is a new course, excellent driving range - all grass, no chipping/sand practice area, great food and clubhouse.

I came back and played yesterday and the greens are putting just as true as any green. Yeah they are a little bumpy but putting very true.
The shop staff was wonderful and very informitive, again. They went out of their way to explain that the holes in the greens were about a golf pencil diameter and that they had been cut and rolled. What a class facility. Looks like customer service is not dead.

T25452, GENEGOLF, and Eburris1 are simply pissed off that the course did not do a better job communicate to them that they were aerating the greens. It’s called respecting your clients and it’s obvious that AT didn’t do that well enough this week so they are catching flak for it. It’s funny that the course would use a sudden change in weather to justify the short notice to aerate the greens. I’ve golfed in Orange County for the last 14 years and never heard that one.

Just b/c you complain enough to your next round comped does not mean that you should tell everyone that there is a huge communication problem with the staff at AT. I had no problem getting the fact the aerifaction had happened from the staff. I never have had a problem with the greens being to hard to hold shots, however the greens are pretty firm but have always held good golf shots. Congratulations on your great round of 79, but the fact remains YOU missed those putts not the greens. The holes in the greens weren't 3/4 of an inch and the sand is all but gone. Any gripes at this point are really mute there is nothing anybody can do now.

Nobody is badmouthing the facility because they're taking care of the course. The complaint is they were trying to hide the fact from us ( wouldn't even mention it as we paid). To me, good customer service is letting your customers know if the product won't be up to what the customer would be expecting. How would you like to buy a car over the phone, then when you show up to pay it only has three wheels?! I'd say over 50% of the courses in So. Cal offer some type of aerification discount, or at least let their customers know when they're aerating. That's also the whole purpose of this website. To inform golfers so they can make an informed decision on where to play. And, yes, I shot a 79 instead of a 75 because four putts bounced offline or stopped at the last minute because of 3/4 inch holes and 1/8th inch of sand on the greens. We applaud AT for taking care of the course. We love the course. And upper management took care of us. But, we also have many choices and we want to make informed decisions on where to play. Especially when we're entertaining other excellent golfers and we've talked up the course with them.
