My name is Steve Henderson and I am the Head Professional based here at Westridge Golf Club.

During the past few weeks, we have made plans to make your golfing experience here at Westridge the best possible. We have more structure to our tee booking system through Click4teetimes and Golfnow.com, in connection with our internal systems to make sure that tee times are adhered to and kept on time.

We are in the process of marking the course with 'Pace of Play' boards every 4th hole to ensure that our marshals and starters have a structured timed round for each group.

We are also planning to have alternate 8 and 9 minute intervals for every tee time, every day. This will hopefully ensure a smoother start to your round.

In addition to the above, we have STOPPED 5 somes completely from playing too.

We have had some great reviews recently and understand that these issues above have an adverse effect on how Westridge Golf Club is perceived and hope that these changes will only increase your enjoyment in playing our great, challenging course.

Played Friday (at) 12:00 after booking a $39 rate on Click 4 Tee Times. The course was in the best condition I've seen it in for years. At least the first 6 holes were. Can't say about the others because I walked off when we were three foursomes deep on the 7th tee! As I drove to the clubhouse, I saw a group of women hit "approach shots" to the 9th green. One word: pathetic. The rangers who should have pulled these ladies off the course were nowhere to be found. When I went into the front desk and complained of how slow the course was playing, I only got a bored shoulder shrug from the starter...DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY HERE!

some tight holes...do not like all the out of bounds markers within the course to divide fairways..and too many on the edges too...would speed up play if more were lateral...sand traps inconsistant...... Continue »

i used to like coming out here but conditions have gone down a lot. greens are still in pretty good conditions except for all the unrepaired ball marks (esp on 18.. there must have been at least 15-2... Continue »

i used to like coming out here but conditions have gone down a lot. greens are still in pretty good conditions except for all the unrepaired ball marks (esp on 18.. there must have been at least 15-20). bunkers are in terrible shape - lots of rocks and not enough sand...and again, no one seems to be raking them. i dont think event the maintenance cleans out the bunkers and smooths them out.

When was the last time they maintain the fairway? I am not saying that because the fairway has many bare spot. I am saying that because the fairway is just like rough. It looks to me that the fairway has not been mowed for a long long time. In addition, the tee box also needs to be mowed. Punching the green is not only thing that they have to do.
You will be unhappy even if you have a perfect tee shot!!!

I don't have much to say about the pace because it was weekend and it was a cart path only. However, just for your imformation, by the time I got on to the 1st tee, it was already 1 hour late than my orginal tee time....

Played on 3/11/2011 at 6 AM. The greens were punched the day prior so there are a lot of small holes on the greens. First group out, so pace was great - finished in 3 hours 45 min. Tee box, fairway, rough, and bunkers are all pretty decent (a solid 7 in scale of 1 to 10). Call ahead to check on greens condition before you play.

Played this course 2/13 at 8:15am. Tee'd off just a few minutes late and the guys in the pro shop and the starter were cool. The conditions were pretty good - fairways were pretty lush, the greens rolled true and at a good pace, most of the tee boxes were fine except for a couple where the ground was pretty hard. The marshall was roaming around, trying to coax the group in front of us to speed up. This course has quite a few elevation changes and plenty of slopes and undulations, so if you're not accurate with your shots, you're definitely in trouble. My only complaint is that we saw the beverage cart only once...parked at the starter booth...horrible! Overall, it's a nice course.

Came out here after reading reviews about this place and how poorly it had been maintained. Well needless to say i was more than pleasantly surprised to find a great little course with pretty great conditions.

Tee boxes were all nice, a bit muddy in places but that can be expected with this weather. The fairways were a tad bit longer than im used to but it wasnt a bad thing, to be honest i only noticed it because i was looking for it due to the harsh reviews.

The greens were a bit slow, but not a lot of ball marks and the best part is they were pretty consistent across all 18.

Truly the best part about this course is the staff... all those guys are pretty cool.

All in all, in its current state, the course was a fun, not terribly challenging, little track. Also, i should mention i got a tee time online, it 50 w/ cart... at THAT rate the course was well worth it and ill definitely be out here again!
