played wed 10/13. greens were sanded :( they should be good in 1-2 weeks. fairways = dog crap. saw the last post on this course and was pleased to hear the greens and fairways were good. wasted 30 bucks playing. give the fairways a month or so. It was super soft and muddy, cart path only. tee boxes were all up, placed on uneven ground, unkept, and most were half mud. usually like this course, easy track, and easy to get out. it will be a while before i'm here again.

For conditions after the rains and the punching of the fairways it was in pretty great shape,the greens are just about recovered from being punched and rolled pretty well. for the life of me I don t understand why people don t fix their pitch marks.My third time playing there and will never play there again for the reason of the ethinc group that domminates the course. ITS VERY VERY SLOOOOW PLAY.When there are 2somes holding up play and nothing is ever done about it its a real bummer,4somes in front of us playing from the tips that couldn t driver it farther than 150 and thats no joke,too bad cause it is a nice layout

Played the course Tuesday. Fairways where decent, a few brown spots and hard in some places but again decent. Greens in good shape. Rolls about a 7/8. Pace of play was a bit slow as my group was given a tee-time at the tail end of a mini tourney.

Teed off at 6:40 AM with $32 GolfNow rate. What a steal! Started on the back 9, which apparently is fairly common at this course. Most of the course was in good to great shape, but the greens were fairly bumpy with a lot of unrepaired ball marks. My group banded together to see how many we could fix per hole! Greens varied in speed and did not roll very true. Bunkers were wet and very firm, probably due to the early hour. Round lasted 4.5 hours. Overall a pretty good experience, will definitely return if that rate is still available.

I played this course yesterday afternoon, and I was surprised that there were
many players on the course even weekday afernoon!! I guess~~ A good deal can be
found online. If you can put up with waiting on the fields (tee box, fairway,
and green- everywhere on the courses!! ), this course is worth it. If you don’t,
you’d better go to another golf course. One thing I didn’t understand was that
there were fivesome in front of our group!! I thought that this course didn’t
allow 5some. Anyway, they were the one of the reasons to cause the delay…

Nevertheless, the course is in a good shape. They have started to pay attention
to the condition because they blocked the fairway with string barriers. I think
that it was a good decision. I don’t mind walking a little longer to play on the
good condition course.

Usually love this course... challenging and in good shape. Was disgusted last Saturday morning when it took us THREE HOURS to play NINE HOLES!!! No marshall in sight (which is not uncommon) and our mistake for not calling the pro shop several times. We started on the back nine and I walked off after the 18th - completely disgusted.

Looking for a positive, the course was in very good condition with the exception of the tee boxes which are always questionable due to undulations. Had it stretched out from the blue tee boxes to full scorecard length. I will go back because I have had so many positive experiences here, but not too many more chances if they dont address pace of play (might as well play a Long Beach course).

Played Monday, July 5 - Booked on Click4TeeTimes for $40. I got a really good rate online and I wanted to try a new course to validate my handicap. The course is in good shape. The greens were a little slow, but they were manicured. The course has a lot of character because of the elevation, slope, and undulation(greens & fairways). My only COMPLAINT about this course is that the yardages on practically every hole and every spot on the course is off! I was playing with a local/member and he helped me out a lot. Without him, my score would have been a lot higher. The cart girl was very nice and she came around frequently. The driving range is mats only and they a very small chipping green. Overall, I had a good time and I will be back to play again.

played today 6/29 and finished in about 4 1/2 hrs. Conditions are just OK for Westridge. greens were decent... a bit slow with the usual un-repaired ball marks. Rough and sand were good, sand was fluffy but wet from the morning dew and slight drizzle we had. Fairways were generally good, did not see any bare spots or thin spots, some areas are still yellowish but not dried out. Please fix your divots and rake the bunkers, players, this was mentioned in other reviews but those that are doing it don't read these reviews. The 3some ahead of us were part of the problem but could not catch them in the act of not raking the bunkers so we could say something. It was pretty bad on a couple of bunkers I was in, but fortunately was not in a footprint as usually happens to me.

played fri 6/25 and finished in about 5 hrs. this is one of my fave courses in oc... but the conditions are just ok for westridge. greens are ok... a bit slow but not much complaints... rough and sand are good. fairways are generally good, but there are some parts of the fw that do not have much grass on some holes.... i was a bit upset to hit it in the fw and get a lie on dirt more than once. im sure this will be fixed soon. please fix your divots and rake the bunkers, players... it can get pretty bad and i dont feel like being penalized for someone elses laziness.
