I've played this course since it opened, generally once or twice a year. This is by farthe best condition I have seen it in for a long time. The greens were as fast and true as I have ever seen them here. They were a pleasure to putt. (Although I did not putt them very well)

The staff was great, discounted green fee from an e-mail and excellent weather. First off so pace of play not an issue. If I had performed as well as the "conditions" it would have been a perfect day.

Played 11/13/13 @ 11am. Our 2some joined by another 2some. Played here a few years ago and enjoyed it so wanted to try again. Knew it was going to be a long day when we saw 4 groups waiting on the first tee. After the first tee shot, it was pretty much hit and wait all day and the round lasted almost 5 hours. Although pace was slow, course condition was dry but very playable. Tees were somewhat shaggy but level, fairways were dry but well maintained. The only problem I had were with the greens. Greens looked fine and rolled fast, however they just didn't hold the line.
Overall, if you can handle slow pace, it's one of better conditioned courses in the inland and I would recommend it.

Played here on Friday, Nov 1. The course is in decent shape. I always love the lay out and how challenging the course is for me. The fairways were dry and thin but still playable. Lots of roll. Rough was short and not penalizing. The greens were dry and quick. They still rolled well but just fast. The only reason why i didn't enjoy that day is that the round took 5.5 hours!! I didn't expect that on a Friday morning. First we were sent out 30 mins later than our scheduled tee time. I don't know where the slow down occurred in front but the marshall was there driving around and didn't say much. The group behind us kept hitting into us without a fore or an apology. So much for golf etiquette. Was not a enjoyable experience for my wife who played the course the first time. She doesn't want to go back there again.

I liked the course . The greens were very fast , a 10 and very hard for me to read . The fairways were cut very thin and you could get a lot of back spin on your ball when you hit the greens . The only thing I didn't like was the sand traps . They had good sand but they also had little rocks mixed in with the sand . Not so good for your sand wedge . We got around in 4 1/2 hours .

Overall course is in fair to good shape. Greens were lightning quick once the sun came out and are almost completely back from aeration. Just the merest trace of the aeration holes is still visible and there are still some bobbles. Would look for them to be stellar in a week or two 9/10.

Every hole has 2 sets of tee boxes that are being over-seeded, so they have combined some tee markers. Most of the re-seeded ones look to be coming in nicely and they should be using them again in a few weeks I would reckon. 8/10 for now (and I think they will then be doing the remainder of them later this fall)

Fairways are turning dormant, are on the thinner side and are fairly hard throughout. Ball runs out a lot but they are less than stellar 6.5/10. Rough is still pretty much non-existent but a bit juicier around a few of the greens. About 6 or 7 fringes were being extensively re-sodded and are marked GUR. 7/10.

Didn't visit sand but they all looked good and fluffy. Just the usual issues with patrons not raking/not fixing ball marks. POP around 5 hours prime time Sunday which is about typical.

Overall I would give it about 7.5

I played this course on 8/28. My wife & I loved the terrain, layout, condition, and the ranger's effort to keep the pace of play. We had a very slow 4-some ahead, and the ranger kept his eyes on them and pushed them whenever needed. I really enjoyed playing there, and definitely will again.

this course is always in good conditions. however, can't about pace of play tho. it took us 5 hours on a relatively slow day on Labor Day weekend for twosomes but still enjoyed a last minute round

the tee boxes were level and lush. fairways were lush and some dried spots marked with white chalk. i guess the southern california heat has a lot to do with it. bunkers, however, were a bit inconsistent. some were soft and some were a bit packed and dried. greens were medium to fast and rolled true

we just didn't like the cart safety feature that was installed on them. going downhill, the cart reset itself to 7mph and flat surface was 11mph. i know no one likes to get hurt but it was slow going downhill. other than that, we will definitely return

Good day to all the golfers who use Greenskeeper to review our course here at Eagle Glen. My name is Steve and I am the General Manager here at Eagle Glen. I wanted to thank each of you personally for playing our course and choosing to play here when you have an opportunity play. We appreciate your business and do not take it lightly. We also review our available Tee Time slots multiple times a day to offer you the best possible pricing at our facility. We also read every posting each of you submit. None of the issues go unnoticed. While we cannot accommodate everyone's issues, I do want to clarify and comment on the GPS changes to our carts. There is a bit of rumbling on this. First, the carts are the same and only the GPS has changed. It is the same company, just the newest version. It is still being developed and we are one of the first courses with it. So yes, there are bugs and the company is working on them. Speed though, is not one of these. The old system allowed our carts to travel at 9 mph only. Additionally we had numerous speed bumps throughout the course to further slow you down and aid in the enforcement of safety issues. This did not prevent some guests from acting poorly, driving beyond the safety areas, and doing damage to the carts and injury to themselves. It was also a very bumpy ride that promoted spilled drinks, lost personal articles, and massive time delays. The new system has allowed us to speed up the carts to 11 mph. We are also able to remove the speed bumps as we can control the downhill areas. In these five areas on the course, the speed does drop to 7 mph. This is a fixed speed by the company. So I understand why you think it may be slower, but the fact is that the carts actually are going faster than ever. Plus you get a smoother ride and we were also able to remove all the ropes off the course and clean it up. These changes have resulted in an early average of Pace of Play improvement by 19 minutes. We will still retain our have No Cart areas for your safety and the protection of the golf course. I think if you look at the entire package of what has been provided to improve your experience here at Eagle Glen you will agree that it is continually getting better and better.
