Greens somewhat bumpy and slower than usual for this course at this time of year. Visually they look very good and track well if you roll it firmly. Surprisingly, no one seems to repair ball-marks - hard to believe:)

The fairways have come back very well and are generally very lush and inviting - a few of the re-sodded areas are still a different color and you get different lies but visually the course looks very attractive when you are up on the hill looking down.

Sand was clay and gravel in fairways - decent but a bit crusty by the greens.

Pace of play was slow waiting on every hole until 12 and then 16-18 - no marshall/no liquid plumber applied to the situation which appeared to be a blockage of blockheads about 3 holes ahead.

Great deals on GN-dot-com and for the discounts this is superior golfing on a challenging but rewarding track.

Played here on 6/28. We actually played two rounds of golf here. First tee time was 730a, course was in good shape. Greens played a little slow. Second tee time was 1245p, this time the greens played faster as they dried out throughout the day. Overall it was a great day for golf. I will definitely come back here.

Played yesterday, 6/29 early morning. This course is returning to be in very good shape. The greens and sand traps are in excellent condition, the best I've seen here. The fairways are a bit hit and miss as they have been doing quite a bit of work on them and some areas are sodded with bermuda which is beginning to grow in nicely. Overall a very good experience and happy to see the course improving in condition as it's such a challenging layout.

Played Eagle Glen around 2 pm this past Sunday, 06/05/11. We thought the NBA & NHL finals would keep people away. We were wrong. We teed off about 30 minutes behind schedule. Course was in decent shape. The greens were consistent, but a tad slow. The fairways were mowed very tight and in fair shape. Rough was not too penal. The sand traps were decent shape. The afternoon 15 to 20 mph winds were brutal. None the less; we surprised to finish in 4.5 hours. For $39 bucks on GN, we will return. Customer Service was great; David, the start was pleasant and courteous despite the late start which was out of his control. Kat, the cart girl was seen twice.

We played Sunday with a tee time at 2:15pm..praying that people are not playing because of the NBA finals...nope we were wrong. When we went to the starter 10 mins before tee time, there was a long line of carts out to the parking lot. My initial thoughts were...boy this is going to be a 6 hour round. However, big props to the staff...holding people back on 1 instead of waiting on the course..we actually finished just under 5 hours. We were pleasantly surprised.

Greens were nice and smooth. Rolling about a 9.5. The fairways were a bit thin. The most brutal part...the wind. By the time we made the turn, the wind was howling probably at 20 to 30 MPH. Bring your knock down shots and short game.

Eagle Glen is always a unique challenge and everytime I play, it reminds me that my golf game really sucks versus playing a reg muni. It's in great shape right now...go...just go early before the wind beats you up.

I played Sunday, June 5, and teed off at about 10am. I hadn't played here since the course first opened, so I thought it was time to head back. The layout is fair, but challenging with enough room to drive the ball, but lots of trouble if you're wild off the tee. Conditions from tee to green were good, with firm, closely cut fairways. Tee boxes and bunkers were well maintained, and the pace of play was good (about 4 1/2 hours) for a weekend on a crowded, hilly course. As for the greens ... uh ... they looked fine. They were cut nicely. No ball marks to speak of. I just couldn't figure them out. Downhill putts were slow. Uphill putts were fast. 39 putts ... really? Love the course. I'll be back.

Have not played here since last March. Course is in very nice condition. The greens were at times exceptional, except I don't remember them being so slow? (They looked like they would be faster, but didn't putt that way? A few of the bunkers had some issues, and there are areas in the fairways they seem to be addressing. Otherwise the course was fine. Staff was wonderful. First off, so pace of play not an issue. Good value as well!

Played on Friday morning. The course is in great shape, Greens are firm and in perfect condition with very few ball marks, the sand is great in the bunkers and the fairways, even though they have replaced a few patches here and there are in great shape as well. Saw the cart girls 3 times and the pace was a little slow on the front, but the marshalls moved it along on the back and it really sped up play. Well worth the fee.

Greens are almost back from aeration - they look good, just a bit bumpy and slow for here. Another week or two and they should be very nice. Ball still tracked well and they held good approaches.

Fairways/rough - kind of a different story. Course is generally greening up and the lies are improving in the fairways. But a lot of the re-sodding undertaken over the last 6 months is still thin and yellow. And the rough is either non-existent or very patchy with several different kinds of growth.

Tees good, sand fair (thin and hard in the fairway traps). Busy, but it moved smoothly at around 4.45 for 18.
