Played on 10/21 and course was in excellent conditions. It is not a difficult course to play, no tricked up holes, yet it is interesting enough to keep your attention. Greens are some of the best to be found a muni type course. For the price this is one of the best bargains in the area, good fairways, bunkers, hole variety, and excellent greens. Play here and you will have enjoyable day on the links. Try and avoid weekend play as it can be very slow due to all the tournaments the course attracts.

I hadn't played here in about ten years, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I have to say that the course condition was very good for a course in this price range. Tee boxes, fairways, rough and bunkers were as good or better than most of the munis I play. The greens have almost completely healed from the recent aerification, and roll very well (though many putts fooled me due to the grain). The layout is fun, and there was a marshall there all day monitoring pace of play.

The price of the coures was very high. The quality of the course was so terrible that I won't play there again. The snack bar was great and the pro shop was okay.

If you like squirrels come here. They are all over the place in the morning. Were it counts, (greens & fairways) this course is nice. Greens hold very well and roll smooth. You can really bomb drives on many holes here. Roll it through the hardpan desert to cut some corners. Just don't hit a tree or a boulder. I'm happy there are still some affordable courses like General Old that are in good shape.

Price is good, super twilight is the best deal around. Staff is nice and it's a very welcoming place. Plans to build a new club house makes it even better.

Teed off after 4:00 pm, so the course conditions weren't as good as I'm sure they are in the morning. The greens were pretty bumpy, but other than that, the course was pretty nice. It was my first time there, and I liked it alot. The course, other than the greens, was in really nice condition. Plenty of practice areas, and had a lot of nice features that made nice additions (decorated tee boxes, call box to the snack bar on the 9th tee box). In addition, the course rewards good shots and punishes bad ones with it's tighter fairways, tree lines, dog legs, and bunkers. Will definitely play again.
