Course is in great shape right now. Fairways are almost perfect, rough is very consistent. It seems like some of the greens were punched with small holes recently but it doesn't affect them at all. They are rolling medium-fast and very smoothly. One of the best values for the greens fees.

I played here on 6/12/12 for the first time and really enjoyed the course.

Had a friend who played here before so we did the hour drive from LA and teed off at 2:13pm for $43 to walk, $49 in a cart.

Course was great - really nice condition throughout. The greens reminded me of Lost Canyons - very undulated and tiered and a challenge. I landed on the green on the first hole and the ball was promptly directed off the green thanks to a channel I wasn't aware of. That set the tone for the round. If you don't have a decent short/chip game then this course will be a challenge to you.

Overall I found it to be a fair test. From the whites the front 9 played easier than the back since the par 4's were all around 350 or below. The back par 4's are more 390 to 430 ish so you need good long irons to score.

We let a 4some go by us on the 9th since it felt like they were pushing a lil, but overall it was a good tempo. They have an all grass driving range with a chipping and putting green.

If you live in LA then it's worth it to check it out. I'm looking forward to going back.

Played here on Memorial Day weekend on a twilight rate and the course was empty. A single went out ahead of us that we lost after a hole or two and we barely saw the 4-some playing behind us. The course is in as good a shape as you could ask for from a public course. The fairways were lush with no major brown areas that I recalled. The rough was thick and punishing, and the greens were fast and smooth. Some bal mark damage was evident, but nothing too bad.

The course itself is very challenging. The rough really eats up the clubs, so you are paying a penalty for missing the fairway. Greens are of a decent size, but most of them are tiered so long puts are very difficult. The carts could use an update with GPS, and putting coolers on the carts would be nice, but the weather was so mild for us that it did not bother me.

Goose Creek is definitely one of the more challenging public courses I have played. For public courses in the OC/IE area, there are not too many in the same class that you can play for the same money.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a round at Goose Creek with the Los Angeles Golf Group setup through meetup. This course is an absolute gem and the course conditions where excellent. From tee boxes to greens I could not find anything wrong with the maintenance or playability of this golf course. There are wonderful warmup areas on real grass, a chipping and putting area that is quite spacious and great to get tuned up on. The pace of play for a Saturday afternoon was great at about 4 to 4 1/2 hours. The value for this course is great I will definitely drive the 40 minutes out to this course to play again and pass the word along to my golfing friends. OUTSTANDING... Best conditioned golf course I have played in a long time. With the exception of a few ball marks on the greens this course is in perfect condition tee to green. Practice facilities are fantastic, staff is friendly and accommodating. It is an 1 1/2 hour drive for me and im already planning my next trip. If you have not played it, make a time and get out there right now. The layout is fun and the experience is top notch. Cant wait to go back.

This course is truly a gem. The conditions are outstanding. No bare ground anywhere. Everything was mowed or trimmed nicely. Greens rolled true and were firm and medium fast. A few ball marks here and there, but not terrible. Fairways and rough were lush and perfectly mowed. No tight lies, no unmowed rough, no bare gound. Not even a scalp mark from a mower. Cudos the the grounds crew. Bunkers had plentiful sand, light in color and texture. The tees were level and lush. The all grass range was real nice with great target greens. The practice putting green was large and rolled nicely. Even the areas around the clubhouse were mowed and trimmed nicely with a mini putt-putt nine hole setup in the lawn area outside the front door and Goose Creek trimmed into the boxwood hedges behind the proshop overlooking the 18th green. The customer service was great. Pace of play was exceptional; we got around in just over four hours. We had a great time and hope to make it back again soon. Thanks Goose Creek and Greenskeeper!

Great course and conditions. Tee'd off at 1:45 and finished just under 4 hours. Fairways are the best I seen in the Inland Empire and LA. No noise, good spacing between tee times, very peaceful feeling. Tee boxes and bunkers were taken care off. Greens are a bit firm, quick speed, and looks taken care of beside a few areas of unrepaired ball marks by inconsiderate golfers. Rough is easy to hit from. I've played here once before and will go back at the next opportunity. Can't say enough good things about this course. A nice walking course, as it is very flat. Lots of fun to be had here.

The practice facility is first rate. Grass range. Nice chipping area and a bunker to practice in. Putting green is large and really plays the same as the greens on the course.

The course was great from tee to green. I did notice a few more than normal pitch marks on some of the greens. Come on people how hard is it fix them!
We breezed around in 4hr. & 15 min. Never waited on any hole.

What a great way spend a Sat. afternoon!

Played 5/14/2012, what can I say, tees, fairways and greens were pure as it gets. Nothing better than standing on the tee and looking at cross mowed fairways. Speaking of the greens, receptive, smooth and fast. What makes this course tough is the fall-offs around the greens, makes it tough to get up and down. Teed of at 9:05, walked off the 18th green at 1:15, great pace of play. Will be back again really soon.
