Tee'ed off 8/21 (at) 7:30 and finished in less than 4 hours. Great pace for a Sunday morning. Have not played here in about a month and was really missing it. There is nothing to complain about here. From the guys at the checkin to the cart barn customer service is just plain great.
There is one green that has a little problem on the front edge but other than that the course is in great shape. Kudos to the people who play here for fixing fairway divots and ball marks on the greens. I will be back really soon.

The course is in amazing shape. It has been a very long time since I played here last and I have been wanting to get back out there for over a year and I was a fool for waiting so long. Tee Boxes were 100% level and mowed perfect, fairways were perfect with only some grass clippings on a couple and I never had a bad lie in the rough. I was in 2 bunkers and one was very soft and fluffy and the other was kind of hard but still better than most courses. Greens were PERFECT!!!! Firm but held shots, fast, and no ball marks or debris. Carts are only equipped with the green details and greens are broken up into 4 sections so on the first hole make sure you pay attention to what number the position the greens are playing. The course is very quite and no immediate houses lining the course except a couple on the 17th hole. Pace of play was awesome at 3-1/2 hours and we never had to wait for a shot until the 18th hole and it was only about a minute wait. I will be back very soon.

Played on Tuesday 8/2. The course was in incredible shape, even better then when I played in six days prior. We were the first group out after the PGA I.E. chapter championship and I have to say I have never seen the greens this good, tough locations and smooth. The prior round the greens were very slow, but yesterday they were perfect. The sand was a little on the hard side but playable. The fairways and tee boxes were very manicured and the rough was as consistant as rough can be. Played in 4 hours and was held up on our approach shots on 17 as the tournament ahead of us was hitting their tee shots on the second hole of a playoff. I can't get enough of this place.

I played here with a bachelor party group on the way out to Vegas. I did not make the tee times, so I can't speak to how hard it was to get them, but the course was great. There is room for improvement, but I had an excellent time. I would not drive out for a Friday round, but it is worth the drive for a weekend tee time.

It would be nice if they put GPS on the carts. I have an app for my 'Droid, so I was able to get distances, but GPS son the cart is getting pretty standard. Also, how about coolers on the carts. It is the IE for Pete's sake, it is hot out there. Coolers are basically a given. So bring your own, along with ice.

That's it for the gripes. The practice facility has real grass, something we rarely get in OC. The putting green is nice and big as well, with some breaks. The club house is OK, small, but comfortable and the food is good enough.

The course itself is in great shape, challenging but not too tough for a very high handicapper like myself. The bamboo and reed areas OB do keep you from tracking down lost shots, but this is far from target golf. Pace of play was good, and the 18th hole coming back in is a real challenge for folks like me with a wicked slice, with water all the way down the right side around the curve. Pretty, but a virtual magnet for my balls.

The course is outstanding. I can not say anything more than the other 2 reviews this week. After reading that they held a tourney on Wednesday, I was expecting some divots in the fairway or marks on the greens. The course is immaculate from tee to green. Fairways and tees were lush, greens were smooth, fast, and firm. Sand was fluffy, even with the morning watering.
Price was fair ($63 during weekend peak). I would definitely play again with their great weekday and twilight fees.
My only complaint is as a 1st time visitor to the course, there's no hole diagrams on the scorecard or tee boxes signs. There's a few doglegs where it would be nice to know what's around the corner.

Played Wednesday, July 13th in an SCGA event. Course was in amazing shape. This was my second time playing this course (I played 10 days prior) and it was in even better shape. The greens were absolutely perfect - probably the best ever public greens I've ever putted on...in fact, I went into the pro shop and told the starter and the head pro how good the course and the greens were. One little detail I appreciated too was that the putting green was rolling the same speed as the 18 greens on the course. This course is an IE gem and I will be back many times in the near future.

Played yesterday 7/14 in a SCGA one-day event. We were the second from the last group at 11:10 and because of the tournament, the pace was very slow. At SCGA events the pace of play is printed on your scorecard e.g. you should be finished with the 6th hole at 12:15. They shoot for a 4 hour 15 minute round. We were in the 5+ hour range. The course however was great. The fairways were excellent as were the greens were smooth, receptive and relatively quick. I play this course 3 to 4 times a year and it is a really good layout and is always in good condition. The staff is good. The driving range is all grass. There is a short game practice area and a huge practice green. I only wish this course was closer to my house
