I have seen some no so good things about this course, but I did not find it all that bad. Keeping in mind it is winter and we have had a lot of rain, course maintenance cannot work everyday. Couse played pretty decent with the exception of a lot of the traps had water in them. Rained heavy on Sat. The greens were good and the fairways were OK except again there was some standing water. They were working very hard to pump away all the water. Played in 3.5 hours and enjoyed the round. Certainly worth $39.00.
If they want to improve the experience a little they could get rid of the birds that hang around a few of the greens. Can get a little tough on soem of the greens.

I haven't played here since July of last year. It didn't take long for this place to head south. The greens are slow and a few look like they have been patched together like a quilt.Fairways are thin with numerous patches of dirt. Tee boxes are littered with broken tees and uneven. The par 3 tee boxes are severely uneven and have the appearance of having been recently rototilled. I think the management has given up on this place. I know I have.

Played this course on 1/1/11. Had a 12:15 tee time but got to go out early. Played the tips due to many players in front of us figured the extra yardage will help our pace. It did, finished in 4 1/2 h... Continue »

Played this course on 1/1/11. Had a 12:15 tee time but got to go out early. Played the tips due to many players in front of us figured the extra yardage will help our pace. It did, finished in 4 1/2 hrs. half the tee boxes where destroyed and the other half where great. Front 9 fairways where thin but the back 9 where good. Sand traps where mud or under water due to the rain. If you have ever been to Hemet you know the entire city gets flooded with any amount of rain. All the greens where great.

Drove 65 miles out to Hemet to play yesterday and saw only 10 or so cars in the lot when we arrived at 9:30 AM so we knew immediately that the course would not be in great shape. The greens were pretty good, fast and not much damage. The fairways were the worst I've seen in many years of playing the course and the bunkers were rock hard and wet, but no need to rake them as you did not even make a footprint when you went in. Pretty easy to get out of them also, if you just played the shot as a pitch off of hardpan. The good news was that we finished in 3 hours, including being behind a slower foursome with one dude who thought he was Camilo Villegas and had to lay down on the green before every putt!! They let us play thru on the 6th hole and it was no waiting after that. So long as you took a drop to a place with at least a little grass on the fairways, it was not a bad deal for $39 on a weekend!

Ok, after many bad and very bad write ups I still made a try on Sunday the 31.It wasn t the best conditions but most all the areas are showing fast improvments,my friend made a comment "they would have more money for manintanace on the course if they didn t spend it on all the ropes marking the course for grounds under repair".One thing i can say is they have the BEST greens i ve seen and played on in many months,fast and smoooth.I may be partial cause I just like the lay out so much.

This course will be Riverside County's newest and largest DOG PARK!!! I think they will proceed after Halloween coz it looks like they are setting it up as a maze with all the lines drawn in what once was called fairways. Could not believe how this place just tanked! I used to enjoy playing here but I guess I should've realized something was up when they took the GPS off the carts. The pace of play was terrible. It took us about 2 and a half hours to get through the front nine.

We played Hemet on Sunday 10/17 and found the fairways to be a disaster. Dozens and dozens of areas roped off and the white circles for the ground under repair encompassed just about the whole course.... Continue »

We played Hemet on Sunday 10/17 and found the fairways to be a disaster. Dozens and dozens of areas roped off and the white circles for the ground under repair encompassed just about the whole course. We thought they should have just circled the whole course in white and left it at that. The rough had not been mowed in far too long. The greens were decent and the pace of play was good. Would we hurry back....not a chance.

I got an email special for this hole, and took a buddy out rather than another nice track we usually play in Riverside.
The greens were a joke, they were running at close to 6 on the Stimp. As you walked you could see footprints. Bumpy, garbage, Poa... Ever heard of a mower!??
The bunkers were SUPER hardpacked. Short bunker shots were really difficult.

This place has new management, but they're dropping the ball. I am not going back--for a LONG TIME--if ever.

Played on 2/28/10 for 35 dollar e-mail special. Started right on time and pace of place was good. It had rained the day before but the fairways were in great shape and they were pumping standing water out of a low area on number nine. The problem was the greens. They were bumpy where there was grass and had huge bare patches. It looked as if they had tried to kill a fungus. The ball never rolled in straight line, once it hit a bumpy spot you never knew where it was going. As always, the staff was friendly and helpful and the driving range has a good amount of grass to hit off. I just wish they had warned about the greens. Made for a frustrating day.
