We had not played this course in many years and it has deteriorated substantially. Fairways are bare, lots of hard pan; bunkers are hard dirt (no sand). Greens were in good condition but the overall condition of the course is so poor we will not return.

Played at 6:15 in the morning and the weather was great. We met up with two locals and they provided us with valuable course knowledge. Play from the correct tees and you' ll enjoy this course alot.... Continue »

Played at 6:15 in the morning and the weather was great. We met up with two locals and they provided us with valuable course knowledge. Play from the correct tees and you' ll enjoy this course alot. The greens are very good (medium speed) but get faster as the weather gets warmer. Good pace, not alot of lost balls, but stay out of the traps, very wet. No standing water, just wet. The 16th hole is a short par 4, dogleg right. If you aim at the red and white antenna on the top of the mountain in the distance, hit your driver and you'll end up on the green for eagle. Also, try the BLT.

Fun course...tight fairways in some areas...most holes lined by houses...slow but lush greens....fairways pretty nice....14 and 15 are really nice holes..have fun

I've reviewed this course before and found the conditions have improved, fairways are getting better, tee boxes have definitely improved. The greens here are excellent-held well hit shots and putted true. They are a tough read at times. Carts now last the complete round without trouble. The traps are still poor-rock hard. Customer service is excellent but no cart girl during the week.

Hemet is beautiful and has a really nice country feel. the staff is pretty friendly however a little slow. The food id realy simple and great. Driving range looks like someones back yard and the carts are a little dated however gps works. Now the important stuff the course is a great layout the geens are really great fairways very nice and the bunkers a little hard however easy to get out off. the course has many different type of holes a little elevation change, doglegs, plenty of water and just a really great track i will be back 32.00 if you have a southland golf coupon..... have fun

I love this course. Played 3-30-09 It is always well maintained and the price is always right. I don't know why it doesn't get more play except for the remote location. It is a fairly easy course with enough challanges to keep it interesting. Pace of play has always been good when I have played. Some huge sand traps and lots of room to try different things. One of the best values in SoCal.

We played before the Super Bowl. Its a fun course. The greens are a great shape. The fairways and rough have some bare spots but for the price its completely worth it. The tees are flat and finding a spot to tee from is easy. Its not a long course, but from the Tournament tees its a fun test.
The staff was really friendly. Its was crowded and the pace was still great.
Compared to the garbage you get in this price range like the LA City courses this place blows them away!
