Played this course today for the 1st time. I have always wanted to try this course out. What a disappointment. Tee boxes were bad, fairways looked like they were trying to get something growing again. Yes I know they over seeded. But I have never seen a course this bad from over seeding.
Several greens had diseased blotches. Sand traps well lets just say "where is the sand?" They were dirt.
Needless to say, for the price go elsewhere.
They need a huge miracle to turn this course around.

Played early am and found standing water in most of the sand traps and near/or on many of the fairways. Who is in charge of the sprinklers and when/where they are on? Greens are in great shape and rolling slow. Tee boxes were in good shape but again watered way too much. Fairways still have some bare spots here and there, but overall in good shape. Worth the drive and green fee - if you can stand the smell.

Oh man, this place just never changes. Bunkers are still ROCK hard with just about 1" of dirt in them. Fairways ok, greens ALWAYS slow. A few years ago they had some real problems with the greens and in my opinion they've never recovered --they're just so slow, so bumpy. If they could fix this the course could be a great value again---until then I am skipping the place or just playing in the afternoon for $20.

formerly Landmark at Hemet course was designed as a retirement community golf course. that said it plays short 6500 max from tips, which we did not play. Course makes up for distance with many bunkers,which are hard as a rock, and six or seven lakes. All said almost every hole is risk-reward. Course is definitly in winter condition and many bare spots abound, especially around the greens, But overall still has green look to it, coot poop helps. The greens were pretty bumpy, not mown today, and you know what you get if you don't mow Poa. $39 for a sunday morning I can't complain it is a fun course with a few unique holes.

Played on 10/22/11 . We made our reservation online and got a great deal which made it easier to travel 1 1/2 hrs . We arrived early and didn't see anyone tee off for at least 20 mins, so we politely asked the starter if we could tee off early by maybe 20 mins. Well..... I got a very unprofessional response which lacked all that customer service is about. The starter literally made us feel guilty that we asked to tee off early due to our online deal. Basically he said there were other paying customers, regular rate, before us... Meanwhile a lonely twosome was about to tee off, which we asked if we could join, with nobody in front! I've never been made feel guilty about being a smart shopper as I did at this course, besides if you're not willing to honor a good deal then DON'T offer one! In all honesty the greens were good but the fairways were horrible with barren spots galore. Besides the greens there was nothing in good shape which is a shame because the layout is fun and fair. We will never make the long trip again to play here and would not recommend it to anybody as there are better courses, such as Diamond Valley GC , with much better service and conditions .

This can be a really fun course. A nice layout when taken care of. But it is starting to go downhill again. Traps are literally mud and basically unplayable. Starting to get a lot of bare spots on the fairways and does not look as if they are attempting to make the repairs. The lakes on the course are really bad and stinky.

Arrived at 1:00-hardly any cars in lot. Played alone and saw one or two others all afternoon. It was really nice to have a course literally to yourself even in the extreme heat today. Course needs som... Continue »

Arrived at 1:00-hardly any cars in lot. Played alone and saw one or two others all afternoon. It was really nice to have a course literally to yourself even in the extreme heat today. Course needs some work but overall is worth the special they had today. I would not drive that far to play there but was in the area and the price was right. Tees were level but were in need of some repair, fairways were good but did have quite a few areas under repair or in need of repair, greens were firm and slow, traps were poor at best. Course is not long but has some elevation changes. Its nice to play a course you can score on once in a while.

Still a good deal, particularly if you sign up for their email specials. This course has taken a turn for the worse in recent months however. Greens are ok, if a little slow. Fairways and rough are getting scruffy looking though. The teeboxes are pretty chewed up as well. Worst part is the bunkers which have no sand, just mud. Some of the ponds, are especially scary looking, with a thick green film of growth growing on the surface. With a number of good options nearby, we may skip this course (a former favorite) for a while.
