Greens Hardness: Soft, lush and receptive, but bot to a point of plugging.

Bunker Sand: there is sand, wetness in some, very acceptable

Fairways: smooth and running, wet but not over wattered.

Teeing grounds: Level and grassy, the par threes aren't beat up.

All in all, the course condition is in fabulous condition- a high 8 in my book.

Beautiful course that routes through a nice residential- well kept.
The par threes are all well spent for in design and up keep.
Many of the greens are demanding because of undulations and tiers.
Many of fairways are generously wide enough and not playing long.
One of the bunkers in the back, a short par 4 is currently either under repair or have been added... It's going to be deep!

Playability and enjoyment of the course is pretty fun! There were many ways to play the holes' risk reward or take away the course' defense by positioning.

Pretty good condition considering it's mid march. Greens were recently punched but honestly had no real negative effect on putting. I will be back!

Played Sunday 3/10/14 and had a great time. Course is in fairly good shape, tee boxes were above average, greens were a little above average, fairways were about average and the rough was tough! Especially around the greens. Sand traps were in fairly good shape, good fluffy sand in most of them. Greens were holding well, but a little bumpy, not quite as fast as they normally are. Customer service was just fine. Great layout, very difficult from the back tees. They are getting ready to aerate the greens so have to wait a couple months to get back out there.

POP was very slow, we ended up playing the front 9 x2. the part of the course we did see was ok. Tee boxes a little beat up, Fairways dormant, greens held well, but too many ball marks. Some lazy folks out there. I'll re visit in June.
Customer service as always was great.

Played 2-15 with a men's club I recently joined. This was my first time here and I enjoyed the whole experience except the POP. It took 5 1/2 hours to play. The marshal came by several times and said they had a group about six holes ahead that was the problem. Seems like they were trying to move them along but it didn't help.
The course is in winter conditions with dormant fairways that are mostly brown. You got plenty of roll out but they were still ok to hit from.
The rough was only about 2-3" and not to thick so not to hard to get out of.
Tee boxes are level and plenty of good spots to tee it up. A couple to the par 3's were a little beat up but still had decent spots to hit from.
I was in one fairway and one greenside bunker and both were a little thin. They could use some sand.
The greens were very good and those of you have played here know how tough they play. Lots of undulations and subtle breaks.
Overall a very nice round. I will be going back soon.

POP: just under 5 hours, no marshall to keep play moving, cart girl came by 3 times

Prices are great , especially if you join their email club...drops green fees by almost half with coupon....so don't let the posted prices scare you. a challenging course...did not see a marshall but did see the drink gal a lot....it is a challenging course and you have to think your way around it...but go play and enjoy.

Played here for the first over the weekend and I would have to say...layout was awesome. Course is relatively made playable for all levels. This time of year, you expect majority of the courses to overseed and this was the case at RedHawk. Conditions were good except for some damp areas due to the mid-week storm. The greens were exceptionally in excellent shape. Smooth and rolled very true. Customer service was top notch and beverage cart came around like 3+ times to check up on us. Overall, great outing and will Most Definitely return.

Great Job @ Redhawk for maintaining such a wonderful track!!! Two thumbs Up!!

Played Sunday at 8:06am. Started on time , or real close to it. Round took 5 hours though. Even though they tracked the times out on the course, the kid said we need to pick up the pace. We waited on 90 percent of the tee boxes.
It was a very pleasant day weather wise. The course is a fun and challenging layout. There are some holes where local knowledge could go a long way. Not every hole is a driver hole, be wise off the tee. The greens, not all of them, didn't hold the in coming shots. Best to play under the hole anyways. There are some mean undulations on some of the greens. Three and four tier greens. If you are on the high side, good luck getting your ball to stop. The greens ran pretty fast. A few too many un repaired ball marks.
The fairways ran also, which was not a bad thing. The rough was wet and stopped the ball in a hurry. Actually the course was way over watered. Mushy grass in many places. Bunkers were wet and some had standing water in them. Bunker shots were tough to judge unless you are familiar with wet sand shots.
There is no GPS on the carts. The tee boxes were terrible.
Saw the beverage cart enough times. Beware, the prices are insulting. One go and I didn't care to see her the rest of the day. Bring your own and save your cash. What a rip off. Seems unnecessary to me.
The best part of the day was the variety of holes and the shots you had to play. Made for a nice golf experience. I would play this course again.
