Greens were perfect. They did not overseed and therefore the fairways are brown right now, but still the ball sits up very well in the fairway so it really made no difference. Rough was good, a little short. San in the bunkers was great. A great day at Redhawk overall.

Played here on 11/27/11. Drove from Pasadena. Pace of play not really an issue even though we waited for a threesome in front almost every hole. My first time playing here, but my friend had played previously and pointed out that the maintenance of the course had degraded. She mentioned graffiti in the course bathroom and ran down back nine bathroom (no sink). The fairways were mostly dormant and rough was thin. Greens were semi soft and still had signs of aeriating. Loved the layout and challenge, but wished it could have been lush. Although I hadn't played here previously, I could tell that the maintenance of the property had been better at some time. Overall I enjoyed the course and the company; as usual!

Played today and had a great time (shot 82 with one birdie). Course is in very good shape (see review). Worth the drive from Pasadena (less then 1.5 hr). Took my friend Jeff there and he loved this place. He shot well with a chip in sandy birdie! Just a little over four hours to play.

Able to get out with David last weekend and he's spot on in his review. Overall the course is in great shape. Fairways, greens, teeboxes, and rough were all in great condition. One disappointment I had was the blue tees were grouped with the silver (can't remember the color now) and it seemed like these tees were moved up on most tee boxes so the course played a lot shorter than the scorecard indicated. That putting green is deceiving, it's on a hill so I thought the greens were a lot faster but I think it was more of the slope of the hill. It got pretty warm out there but there were plenty of water stations out there and the cart girl came by frequently. Solid value.

Played at noon on a beautiful golf day with weber2323 on Saturday, 10/22. Course is in very good condition throughout and looks good as well. Greens held shots and rolled well. Good lies in fairways and traps, which were pretty firm but had plenty of sand. Rough not that deep but sticky and requires crisp contact. Saw cart girl frequently. Pace was poor as we were behind a tournament, taking just over 4.5 hours. Many of the back tees were closed so holes played sometimes shorter than usual. Thanks Mike for a great day. Recommended.

Played 9/25. course was damp, greens soft, fairways were plugging, Sprinkler was still on will we got to 5th hole, sand traps were dirt and hard, very interesting layout of holes, deset par 3 and island par 3 were fun holes, friend had indicated that the course was run down and I would agree. Would give this course a second chance next year when we come down. Good green fee deal available. Good customer service but pace of play was slow

Played today 9-5-11 with e-mail special $45. Since they had big promotion on their green fee, the course was busy. The stater and the marshal at this course did very poor job handling the traffic today. It took us 6 hours to finish the round, and the starter was very rude and commanding to our group. The course layout was fun, but I don't think we will be coming back to this course due to very poor customer service.
