Played a great competitive game with my foursome in Saturday, with a tee time of 9am. The staff was supper friendly and helpful getting off early. The amount of players on the course was light, due to the heat, but the pace of play was perfect.

The greens were in excellent shape, but the undulation design made one and two putts very difficult.

I highly recommend this course and will be back soon!

5/26 using underpar $65 2some playing the whites with my son Grant, a school mate Jeff, and 5 other guys from their softball team--bets were related to playing to our handicaps--which by the way I didnt. but only one player did for his back 9 and all day--so one winner out of 8 players--that be Jeff--who by the way got his 1st hole in one at a company outing last week--$3000 bonus on to the review-driving range doesnt open until 900 on thursdays-fairways firm with decent cover--a few being plugged--but didnt affect the lies. plenty of rough deeper around the greens. sand very firm for fairway bunkers greenside varied from really deep thick sand to wet kinda dirt mix to thin with hard pack underneath--yes I got to test the the various types. tees mostly ok -- par 3s a little chewed up but able to find an ok place. The greens-- BIG anaconda suckers--1 to 3 clubs from front to back--some pins on cliffs or tucked in corners--defended by multiple traps-mostly smooth rolled well-medium fast to fast lot of 3 putts+ to be had by all-- will not forgive being short sided out of the rough staff is friendly enough--drink cart around 2x each 9--but they dont sell razor blades. POP an easy 400 today but we were off at 715 following a scattering of 2somes with one or 2 4somes The setting is scenic and there are a number of what would be signature holes on many courses--even having homes along the course is not a distraction. A good golfing destination

The course is in pretty good condition right now - and very busy. The tee boxes were little thinner than usual, but were drier which made for better grip and no slip. The fairways were very recently plugged - most were free of the plugs except for a few that still had clods covering them. The traps are very hard and compact compared with the other valley courses. The greens were good with hardly any ball marks and rolled slower than usual. The rough on the outside of the cart paths has been left to grow into a jungle - you surely do not want to miss the fairways outside the paths here. Staff is also great (with the exception of one cart attendant who needed to go home). A very busy course that is in great shape right now.

Played today in mid morning. Pace of play was an expected 5 hours. Saved about $10 off the $55 rack rate with an Underpar coupon. Good customer service overall and a very active cart gal. We saw her at least 4 times.

Every time I play this course, I like it better. The greens are somewhat tricked up but they were manageable today at medium speed. They were soft so we could go right at the pins. The fairways were decent. They had punched them sometime in the recent past but most of the plugs were gone and the holes were never in play for our group. I generally had good lies but there were some drier spots that gave a more hard pan lie. The rough was inconsistent. Sometimes it was a better lie than the fairway, other times it was high enough to affect one's shot.

The bunkers were also inconsistent. One fairway trap was so hard I felt foolish while raking it. The rake made more of an impression than my footprints. I was in two greenside bunkers with good sand and one that felt hard but had enough sand to allow a normal shot. The tees were pretty good. Some crowning but I was always able to find a relatively flat area.

Overall a very positive experience.

A great day to play golf! Okay, it was a little chilly with the wind blowing about a club lengths difference, but Tony and I had a great time! The tee boxes were in very good shape, the fairways hard, but looking green. The bunkers were inconsistent, either hard or nice sand. The cart girl was outstanding, we saw her four times during the round.
The greens had been punched about 10 days ago, still affected the putts, BUT, when I made reservations they told me. When I checked in they told me and asked if I had been told when I made the reservation. Obviously great customer service!! Thank you Redhawk staff! We were paired with a wonderful couple (Kobie & Patricia) and had a great time! Highly recommend

Course was very, very busy this morning - and even more so as we finished our 4 1/2 hour round. The fairways have greened up with the warm sunny days - many still have tight lies with the mostly bermuda grass. The tee areas were is very good shape. The rough was OUT of CONTROL and the only place you do not want to be on this course!! The traps were in good shape with a few being slightly wet. The greens were punched the past weeks and we found the front nine to be in worse shape than the back. The greens still held shots and rolled very good - just not what you usually find at Redhawk. I'm sure that a couple of weeks with good weather will bring them back quickly. Staff is always great here. The food is not recommended!

Two hour frost delay made this a painfully long day - 7am tee time off at 9am and not completed till 3pm.......not much fun. The greens were impossible to read today, not sure if it was the firm greens or what? The tee boxes were in okay shape. just damp from the rain earlier in the week. Fairways were very muddy and thin in many areas and the rough was pretty thick. The fairway sand traps here are very hard and not well kept. Most of the green side bunkers are pretty well maintained. The staff was a little stressed the frost delay this morning, but did a very good job dealing with the golfers.

Back again - the frost delayed play this morning for over an hour and turned the quick planned round into a days outing. The tee boxes are thinner and more torn up than last round here. The fairways... Continue »

Back again - the frost delayed play this morning for over an hour and turned the quick planned round into a days outing. The tee boxes are thinner and more torn up than last round here. The fairways are all nearly dormant now, but they still allow for a lot of roll. The rough for the most part will grab your wayward shots and stop them quickly. The greens are GREAT - the best I've ever seen them here in twenty years! The staff is always great - the food, two thumbs DOWN! Three if I had that many! Great course and getting better.

The conditions here are pretty good from tee to green. The fairways have pretty much gone dormant - which allows for a lot of roll on well struck shots. The greens were great - maybe the truest I've ever seen them here. The new ownership seems to have finally cut back on the over watering which most golfers had issues with. The staff is always very friendly here and welcoming to the guests. The course is definitely moving in the right direction.
