Played Thanksgiving Morning, Conditions are very good accept for #4, reseeding fairway. Greens were fabulous, sand is best I have seen here. Tough to find a bad lie out there right now. No wind a little chilly. Friendly staff. Highly recommend this course you will not be disappointed.

Played on 11/22/11 in perfect golf weather, it really must suck to live back east. This was my first visit to Glen Ivy and it will not be my last. Course was everything I had hoped for and hole 18 lived up to all the hype. We tee'd off on 10 so it was a little different finishing the round on a good par three.

Tee Boxes: In good shape, played from the whites, but make not that the whites and blues are playing from the same position because of repair and reseeding of the blue tee boxes.

Fairways: Most are in very good condition, some seemed dormant, but very playable, and some were very green. Hole number four is under repair with the first 150 yards covered in cow dung. no carts on the remaining fairway.

Rough: Probably the worst part of the course, very spotty with thin lies and clumps of grass about 1.5 inches think. Can make or break a hole.

Sand: was only in one trap, but wow, the sand is absolutely perfect, this is what a sand trap is supposed to be. Now players raking the traps is another story. But the course can't make players rake the traps.

Greens: This is where I lost most of my shots, can be very fast going north towards I-15, and slow going south, it's difficult letting yourself be aggressive putting towards the mountains. The greens were in great shape and very few ball marks.

Customer Service: This is one place that they lack, a smile or good attitude can go a long way. At the cart barn when the group in front of us asked for ice in the cooler, they got a eye-roll from the attendant and a very bad attitude. Even the group in front of us turned and said good thing we didn't ask for anything more than ice. No beverage cart on the course. Even passing people that work at the course while playing, would not even make eye contact. But I didn't let it detour from a great day of golf.

Hole 16-18 are as good as golf gets.

1st time playing here. conditions were pretty good. teed off after 12, finished 4:45pm - not bad on a Sunday PM. i like the design - lots of elevation changes and quite challenging. greens were medium to fast and rolls true. the bunkers i was in was pretty stocked (not sure why people don't rake the bunkers though). gets rather chilly as the sun comes down. overall,
quite enjoyable round and will definitely come back.

Played here 11/17/11 and what a great experience. This was my second time here and was even better than the first time and I didn't think it choice gotten any better. The first time I played here I played approximately one month after they aerated the greens. Wasn't bad at all, the greens were rolling well. This last time was fantastic, the greens were the most consistent and true as I've ever played on. The course is a lot of fun and not too challenging. Finished my round in less than 4 1/2 hrs. This course is definitely on the to of my list. AS Long as it stays consistent as it was the lady two times I've played it, I'll be coming back frequently...

Went out today and what a great surprise. They have this course in top notch condition. Greens were lightning fast but what was really nice were the bunkers. I was in 3 of them and got up and down twice. They all had nice soft sand, YES, sand. It sure is nice instead of dirt or nothing like most courses have. I will definitely being going back.

Played Sunday morning. very quiet, not many people out playing with rain in the forecast. I haven't played here in two years, mainly because the greens were always really slow, but now they are perfect. The old saying "don't be above the hole" really applies now. Tees are level (played Back tees) and fairways are nice. Great views, customer service o.k. and price o.k. Very fair course, unlike champions retreat next door. The par 3's from the back tees are brutal, especially with the wind blowing. All this for a 30 minute drive from Tustin, definitely worth the drive. I'll be back.

It's been awhile since I have been back to The Golf Club at Glen Ivy, but I am definitely glad I did. Especially with rain forecasted for the rest of this weekend. I had a chance to hang out with some buddies I haven't seen in awhile, and one of the them made a tee time for this track. I was definitely looking forward the round.

This is one of my favorite tracks out in the Corona area. Located off Temescual Canyon Drive off of the 15 freeway, this is probably the only track where a guy can take his wife and drop her off at Glen Ivy spa! Heck, you can probably play two rounds with lunch in between before getting a text to come and pick up the wife!

The course is in good condition. Blue tees were reopened as well as the tips. Nobody in my group needed to prove anything, so we stayed with the blue tees. Some of the tee boxes needed to be re-leveled, but they were good for the most part. The fairways were nicely manicured and the rough wasn't as bad as I have seen them before. The sand traps were good, but I try to avoid these as much as possible.

The greens were rolling on the quicker side today. They must have rolled them recently. They were in good shape with minimal ball marks, and they held nicely. I even had a chance to really spin some approach shot backwards!

Beverage cart person made herself visible on more than a few holes, and I found out that they carry alcohol. We were there celebrating a buddy's recent engagement, and found myself shooting down a few tequila shots!

This track is the hardest I've played, but you can definitely get yourself in trouble in a hurry, and 3-putts are not uncommon here. Plenty of multi-tier greens and some tight fairways with water and strategically placed pot bunkers.

All in all, I had a great time. Customer service was good, the marshall's were friendly, and the pace was very acceptable at just over 4-hours for the complete round. Our Saturday green fee included the cart and unlimited range balls.

The greens were very nice, faster than I recall. Customer service - so so ! I like the course, but I always seem to encounter "difficulties" when playing there with the staff??
