Played Glen Ivy on July 3, 2011. Paid $49.00 golf now rate for a Noon tee time.

Pace of play was great. Tee boxes were great, as were the greens. The fairways were a brown in some areas and were quite hard. Sand Traps were very good, except for one that had standing water (rest actually had sand in them, unlike some other courses I have played recently).

Clubhouse staff, as always, was great. They let us tee off a bit late, as one of my foursome was running late. Staff had no problem accommodating our group, though. Once on the course, we were never backed up and, despite a rather full parking lot, did not see many others out playing (could have something to do with the fact that it was 98 degrees out).

Only real downsides to day was that they turned the sprinklers on while we were on hole 9 green and again on tee box for hole 11. Got whole group drenched, but given the heat, was somewhat refreshing. Also, Course could stand a few more water stations placed on the Course, especially on hot and muggy days.

All in all, I really do enjoy Glen Ivy. Their staff is always great and the layout is great (especially holes 14-18). I will definitely return, likely sooner rather than later.

I played "The Golf Club at Glen Ivy", formerly known as "Trilogy" with my dad on Father's Day. Despite my terrible putting (except on #4 where I dropped a 65' putt), we enjoyed the round very much. The weather was chilly and moist, which seemed to have zero impact on the greens. They were incredibly and deceptively fast...The fastest I've played since I can remember. The fairways were lush and the course played very well. More yardage markings would have been helpful on a number of holes being that the golf carts lacked GPS. The sand traps were wet and hard...This caused me an extra 6-8 strokes on my game (yeah...I seemed to find quite a few of the bloody traps yesterday).

Being that it was Father's day, we expected to play to be slow. On a few of the longer holes, we had as many as three groups on one hole at a time, but to our surprise, we still managed to finish a 4 hour round. The Marshall was more concerned with whether or not we had a complimentary course provided ice chest, than the fact that the groups were not spread out more.

The range provided complementary range balls nicely stacked and ready for hitting. Every employee we encountered was very nice, and wanted to make sure our visit to the course was a great experience.

I'd recommend this course as a must play if you're planning a visit to the Inland Empire. It's more pricey than a few others within a couple of miles radius, but it's well worth it.

Nobody really out there when we played, let two groups play through, then didn't see anybody. Really good rates. Only complaint is not the greatest practice facilities. Love the course though and plan on returning in the near future. Would have a hard time choosing between Glen Ivy and Champions Club.

Tee boxes are level, fairways manicured, bunkers with fluffy sand(too soft for my taste) and the greens alittle bumpy but rolls pretty good. Havent played here in a few years, so i forgot how fun the layout is. This course does play shorter than actually yardage due to most holes being downhill. Its true, you could hit a 400 yard drive on the holes 16 and 18 due to steep decline and downwind. I was 20 yards away on the par 4 18th hole 434 yards on not so solid tee shot.

Before playing on the 17th I was trying to figure out why I don't like this course as much as Goose, Oak Quarry, Hidden Valley, and The retreat. The only thing I could think of was the finishing par 4s.

This course has elevation changes, some good par 4s and 5s and 3 really good par 3s. But the final two par 4s hurt this course in my eyes. #16 is a 415+ yard par 4 that is downhill all the way. If you ever want to hit a 400 yard drive this is your hole. On the day I played here it was playing into a stiff wind, although I thought I hit a perfect shot off the tee I got lucky my ball didn't roll into the greenside lake. This isn't my definition of risk reward, good shots should be rewarded instead of hoping the ball didnt roll into a lake 415 yards away. 18 is a cool looking hole with a huge drop off but it also feels gimmicky off the tee.

Conditions were okay, the punched the greens 3 weeks earlier but they had healed nicely since then. Fairways were in decent shape. The rough was inconsistent and hard to rate, it was a 9 on some places, very think, and in others non existent. Traps and tee boxes were average to above average.

Played 3-6 for the first time. Very nice staff really liked the free range balls. Course is in very nice condition. The bunkers have lots of nice soft new sand and the greens where near perfect.Very very few ball marks and smooth. Fairways really nice for this time of year. This track has some very interesting holes. 18 is a real challenge and pretty cool.Pace of play excellent for a sunday morning 4 hr 20minutes with a 9am tee time Will be back for sure.

Glen Ivy is a fun, good place to play golf, they are working on their bunkers and filling with good quality sand, greens - I have seen better, however quality is better than most public courses south of this location. F&B needs help, no beverage cart girl, driving range is great all grass, quality of balls - ok.. New ownership seems like they are trying, overall customer service ok, starter and young man behind the counter - welcoming and funny.

Jay Miller needs to go back here and clean this place up. I seems like only a couple weeks but the course conditions are the worst I"ve ever seen here.

Jay Miller needs to go back here and clean this place up. I seems like only a couple weeks but the course conditions are the worst I"ve ever seen here.

We teed off today at 10 and finished in 5 hrs. The difference in playing at peak time versus twilight is...playing behind Caucasians versus playing behind Koreans. The greens are very bumpy and pitch marks are everywhere. The greens played fast but being so bumpy, nothing held true to the line.

The fairways are dormant and the tee boxes are a disgrace to golfers.

The customer service was great and saw the cart girl several times.

I used to love this course for the unique layout and excellent conditions. Unfortunately, now it's only worth it if you have significant discounts.
