Played on Saturday, Oct. 25th. The fairways were all roped off and in pretty sad conditions. The greens were in good shape but the rest of the course was in very poor condition.
We played on Saturday, Feb 2 at 8:00AM and the course was in very good condition. This is a classic Niclaus course with a lot of dog legs and penalizing bunkers. On the down side there was no GPS and the course wasn't very well marked (spent a lot of time looking for yardage markers). In my opinion, it is a nice course but way over priced.
This is a very interesting course with lots of challenges. Normally, it is in very good condition, but as of 8/27/06 the fairways were in poor condition. Also, the pace of play is very slow on the weekends. Played in 6.5 hours and waited on every shot of every hole.
Great course. Eventhough it beat me up, I liked the layout. This course has links style faiways and chipping areas (really tight), so your ball striking must be crisp. This is a tricky course so you have to play it a few times to know where not to hit the ball.
Played the course on New Years day. Course was in great shape as usual and we got around in a little over 4 hours (7:20 start). This is a great course for the money.
First time I played the course. The course was fun, but my game was not. It is a course that you have to play a couple of times to know where not to go.
Played March 19th. It rained most of the day. The course was in good shape with nice greens. It is definitely a ball strikes course with accuracy a must. It is kind of short so if you like to "grip it and rip it" you won't enjoy the layout.
Played 11-14 which was a Sunday. The group 2 in front was incredibly slow, so our round was 5+ hours. Need to have the marshals keep on top of slow groups. The course had some areas under repair but the greens were in pretty good shape. This course is still a good value and with a little effort will be a great value.
Awsome course. The was the first time I played the course and it beat me up pretty bad, but I can't wait to go back and try again (a little course knowledge is key to this course). This is a must play course!!!!
Great value. Now if I could only figure out how to play 18!
This is a great course. Too bad it is so expensive. It is more of a $90 course then a $135 course.
