With consideration. I called to see if they could get a single off on Friday. She said yes but they had recently punched the greens. Thanks, wanted to enjoy the day and not just hit balls on the range.
Arrived and went off solo.
Now, the course is under construction with numerous workers driving through the fairways and around the greens. They course should be 1/2 price since you can only play 1/2 the course.
Do not play here until they are finished in July.

Golfers beware! Steer clear of this course. We played here on 2/10/16. Made tee time reservations by phone, and the person who took the reservation conveniently forgot to mention that the course is undergoing major renovations! Workers everywhere and lots of noisy equipment. They tried to atone for their lack of integrity by giving us a $5 discount. Hopefully, it will be nice when it is done, but we felt very betrayed by the golfing brotherhood. The game of golf is all about the honor system. Shame on you Los Robles Greens.

Los Robles is undergoing a "minor renovation". They are in the process of removing a lot of the secondary turf areas and replanting them, additionally they are in process of reconfiguring the trap complexes on several holes. Long story short, kind of a construction zone right now.

Greens are inconsistent, some furry and badly heel marked up, others smooth and rolling well.

The fairways and rough are marginal at best.

Tees and traps (those not being reconstructed) are okay.

The highlight, a $10 super twilight walking rate. For $10, the conditions and construction can easily be overlooked and made for a nice afternoon....

First time playing this course today, 2/13. It's easy to get to being right next to the 101 freeway. Like the old oak trees on this course. Course has a lot of variety here. It's not a flat course. Most of it is level but there are some holes where the greens are uphill. Also there are holes where you hit down to the greens (a few of the par 3 holes).

Today a lot of the bunkers were under repair. If you hit into the bunkers that they were working on, these specific bunkers were considered ground under repair. You get relief from some of the bunkers if you hit into them! But it was so distracting with so many people working on some of the bunkers. You were trying not to hit until the bunkers but sometimes you couldn't help it. The course gave us a $5 reduction for cart rental.

The course was in great shape considering the drought (other than the bunker issue). Fairways had decent coverage. It looked like the grass was growing back in with the recent rains we got. Tho' there were spots on the fairways that were a little on the thin side. The rough was ok - some a lot of grass and some a little on the thin side. Plus you have to deal with a lot of tree roots from some of the old oak trees.

Greens were in excellent shape. Course did a good job keeping the greens in top shape. The tee boxes were good. Tho' some of the tee boxes were not very level. There is water on the course for a few holes but it usually is not a problem as some of the water was off to the side near the green. Course is challenging.

There is a driving range here but you have to go down and enter near the 1st tee. It is a bit of a walk from the parking lot. If you are playing you can take the carts there.

It was nice that there is gps in the carts. You don't have to spend time calculating the distance. Facilities are very nice. Will like to come back here and play again once the maintenance/repairs for the bunkers are complete. Some of the holes can get a little noisy being right next to the freeway.

Played 11/7 In A Tournament Kept Forgetting to Place This Review But I Think I Have To For The Future The Good: The Greens (Great Shape) Pace Of Play Tournament Director Always Good The Decent: Fairways(I Know We Are In A Drought But Were Still Just Decent Some Very Lush Spots And Some Very Thin To Bare Lies Bunkers (They Were Fine But Not Exceptional) Terrible: Rough(I Know Drought but they only bright spot it looks like they are putting wood chips in a lot of the rough which is good would make for a better time especially in this drought we are in) Tee Boxes(where to start unacceptable conditions they were just areated which raises the question why not areate those with the greens? i don't understand that and not to mention they were soaking wet and hard to find a spot to hit off from when you aren't using driver) Another warning don't leave anything in the cart period they stole a deck of cards we left because we have a game we play after the round with them it was terrible and no one believed me and it was terrible unacceptable to steal something from a group bringing over 30 people to play) Overall not to pleased with this experience i had the terrible outweighed the good to be honest my club loves this course otherwise i personally wouldn't come back to it hopefully something will be done about this experience i had because i'm highly disappointed in los robles i expect more

Shotgun start for a charity scramble tournament on a Friday afternoon. Pace of play slow because the event type but course is in great shape considering the drought and hot weather. Fairways very nice with no bare spots, greens are great but got bumpy by the end of the afternoon. Challenging course with some strategically placed trees and bunkers that put a premium on shot placement.

Played on Sunday morning 6/7 with three friends. All had a good time and the POP was right around 4 hours.

Played on Sunday morning 6/7 with three friends. All had a good time and the POP was right around 4 hours.

The greens were soft and held shots nicely, most greens had very few if any ball marks and putted true. Didn't notice any balls bouncing up the the hole either.

The fairways were mostly thin, but still had enough coverage not to be hitting off hardpan. They played nicely gave a little extra roll and was still able to make solid contact. The rough wasn't really to penal and didn't affect to much. Only a couple of areas were I was hitting off dirt, but then again isn't that the point to make it harder.

The one trap I was in was nice a fluffy and made for a decent trap to play from. Can't comment on the others or the fairway bunkers, but they all looked about the same.

Tee boxes were lush and had nice coverage, with some of the par 3's and shorter 4's having some divot issues, but you could always find a place to hit from. I didn't notice if any boxes were completely uneven to the point that I couldn't find a comfortable stance either.

All in all a fun course, that isn't to tough but still tests your game. Will play in a regular rotation.

Played 5/17 with Queen of Wedges & Woods & Clutch. Our tee time was 1:52 but they were running a little late from Charity tourney in front of us.

The pro shop as always top shelf service. There was problem with range ball machine and they quickly helped us out hand loading the baskets.

The tee boxes were thick and lush looks like they were not mowed in several days , this could be done for the tourney. The tee boxes are crowned on quite few holes and could be redone to level them out.

Fairways were thin and thick depending on hole and had many divots in various stages of healing .

Bunkers were hard pan with little sand at the bottom of the bunker.

Very little rough looks like they are no longer watering the rough and it has died.

Greens good shape with some un- repaired ball marks but very slow 5 - 7 and they seemed to get slower as the day went on.

Pace of play was just over 5 hours ( due to tourney) It would be nice to know when booking round that you would be notified that there is tourney.

This course could use some TLC when funds become available.

Played 3-18-15 afternoon on a golfnow deal for $25 including cart, in 3 hours 40 minutes.
The course is very green right now. Tee boxes are a little on the long side but very lush and level. Fairways are a mix of lush and thin with a few small bare spots. Rough has a couple different types of grass which can leave you with some not to long easy to hit from rough, and some very long rough with the ball sitting down. The one trap I was in on 10 had about a 1/4 inch of sand on top of hardpan. Greens looked real nice rolling medium speed but very bumpy which might just be from playing in the afternoon.
