What a great course! Played it today for first time..........just a great experience. I'll be back.........many times!! Carts have great GPS........Greens are in outstanding shape........fairways, tee boxes, rough and traps are as good as you'll find. Played Ridgeline and Creekside.........just awesome. Every shot has a purpose here at this course..........nice folks working here as well..........what a great day!

Great customer service. Played all 3 nines in under 5 hours. Course is in great shape. Greens seemed slower than the 11 stimp they had posted.

Course was in great condition. The greens held the ball well during approach shots and putted true. On a couple of the tee boxes (can only comment on white tees) I had to try hard to find a level shot to be able to tee up with my feet not being above or below the ball.

Played Creekside and Canyon Crest July 27, 2009. This is one of the best courses I have played. With 27 holes, Moorpark offers great combinations of golf. These "nines" will reward good tee shots and penalize missed shots. Greens are fairly large so approach shot placement is important for a good score. Average golfer will use every club in the bag which I prefer. Also enjoyed the incredible views from almost every tee box. Outstanding facility in every aspect. A must play.

Moorpark County Club is in Immaculate shape. Greens, Fairways and Rough all get a rare 10 out of 10. Tee boxes 8 and Sand Traps 7. It’s no wonder this course has won Greenskeeper.org’s Best Playing Conditions in Ventura County award 4 times! If you want to experience pure med/fast yet receptive bent greens, this is the place to play. Also the facilities and clubhouse are tops.

Longball23 and I played the Creekside/Canyon Crest combo today. Survive the Creekside nine and score on the Canyon Crest nine. There a many long forced carries and tight landing area on the Creekside nine. Once you get to the Canyon Crest nine, despite it being challenging in it’s own right off the tee, it’s seems almost wide open on certain holes. Love this course!!! Highly Recommended.

Played Creekside/Canyon Crest combo supertwilight from the blues this afternoon 6/17 with JohnnyGK. Pace of Play was great today....I am amazed every time I come here...conditions again were perfect..Greens rolling super true and a tad slower than I remember. Holding iron shots beautifully... no ball marks. Fairways lush and green..perfect lies....rough is UP around greens and fairways and lush. Tee boxes for the most part are level and are lush...sand traps are firm and decent. Views amazing, practice facility amazing and huge. Bar and grill, clubhouse beautiful. Love that they have 27 hole here to rotate all the golfers....highly recommend this place... A+ conditions

Customer service and facilities were outstanding. Cart GPS is great for distances due to course terrain. Judging pin location can be very tough without GPS.

Very challenging course. Played Creekside and Ridgeline 9. Greens are very true and at times are tough to read. The Ridgeline 9 is harder than the Creekside 9, even though it is shorter. Very easy to lose a ball. My playing partner had 7 penatly strokes! The Customer service is great. 9.5/10 overall.

Wonderful course, very challenging and if you're not straight, it can eat up golfballs in a hurry. Some orced carries, lots of ravines, and genereally a challenge in every shot. Wind is always in play here as it often swirls thorugh the hills. There are some wonderful views!
Customer service is top notch! Practice faciliites are everything you'd expect with seperate chipping and putting areas and grass range.
Greens must alwsy demand your full attention but are true and usually quite fast.
