Conditions were excellent for this time of year. Staff is always pleasant, facility is top notch. A must play for those who like a challenge.

Played Sterling Hills twice this week. Overall, excellent test of golf. Upkeep of greens and bunkers outstanding. Some fairways are a little thin, due to time of year. Enjoy the different shots required depending on pin placement. Carts with GPS provide good information regarding distance to hazards. Will continue to play this course often.

Played 10/12/11 and found course to be in good condition. Some fairways were aerated recently but overall, not bad. Greens were holding good shots and putts rolled true and quick, probably around 9 or 10. Some bunkers needed more sand but ok overall. Decent test of skills due to wind. Would like to play again soon.
Played 8/7/09 for the first time. Found the course to be in good condition. This course is not that long, but risk/reward factor is apparent. Enjoyed the different elevation changes on the front nine. Tee shot placement is important to score. Greens were smooth and fast by the time we played back nine. Wind seems to be a local factor on holes. Very scenic, nice clubhouse and grill. Look forward to playing a second round. Course knowledge will help. Great value for the price.
Played Creekside and Canyon Crest July 27, 2009. This is one of the best courses I have played. With 27 holes, Moorpark offers great combinations of golf. These "nines" will reward good tee shots and penalize missed shots. Greens are fairly large so approach shot placement is important for a good score. Average golfer will use every club in the bag which I prefer. Also enjoyed the incredible views from almost every tee box. Outstanding facility in every aspect. A must play.
Customer service and facilities were outstanding. Cart GPS is great for distances due to course terrain. Judging pin location can be very tough without GPS.
