What a great course! Played it today for first time..........just a great experience. I'll be back.........many times!! Carts have great GPS........Greens are in outstanding shape........fairways, tee boxes, rough and traps are as good as you'll find. Played Ridgeline and Creekside.........just awesome. Every shot has a purpose here at this course..........nice folks working here as well..........what a great day!

Love this course. Finally shot par here today...............and, by the way, I love this course even when I don't shoot par here...........Have always liked this track better than Wilson, even though Wilson is the more popular of the two courses.........

Love Woodley. Course was a little soggy for a 9:30 am Tee-off but at least they are watering the place and doing what needs to be done to keep the brown spots to a minimum. This course has the best greens of all the L.A. City Courses....they are ALWAYS in very good shape. Great place to bomb away........that's why we call it W-I-D-E-L-Y..........

Haven't been here in a while. Love this course. It was wet and foggy at tee off around 7:30 am so not much roll after hitting tee shot......course was a little wet in the fairways and rough. Greens were in great shape and rolled very well. I love all the L.A. City Courses.......

Totally Brutal...........yes, that's right....TOTALLY BRUTAL. I think the worse thing about this "course" is that there are two (2) of them here...(and the other one is in equally POOR condition)......there must be 30 different kind of weeds and grasses all kind of growing together here that compromise a "fairway"....which hasn't been mowed....so it's all carry here. Even if you nail a draw off of the tee the ball will not run when it lands.....that's really cool on an uphill 429 yard par 4......really cool....and even cooler when you hit a low drawing runner (to avoid the obnoxious wind here) on a downhill par 4 or 5 and it rolls 2 feet after landing............that's really cool..........great. I will say the greens were in decent shape.....if you ever reach them. Topping off the day I went into the "snack shack" to order a sandwich.....and looked on in horror as the lady made it with her BARE HANDS.......no gloves..............again, TOTALLY BRUTAL.........and let's just say I smiled, said "Thanks" and threw that badboy RIGHT IN THE GARBAGE CAN as soon as I had left.......wow...........and yes, I left a tip. And please let me leave a tip for the rest of you..........DON'T PLAY HERE..............DON'T COME HERE..........IT WILL SERVE YOU WELL TO TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.........FOR FIVE TO TEN EXTRA BUCKS YOU CAN PLAY A COURSE THAT HAS BEEN TAKEN CARE OF

Gorgeous, just gorgeous. This place caught me off guard. What great fun. Going back next week. What a gem! Can't decide which I like better...this place or Goose Creek. Both are worth every mile of the drive.

THE GREENS HERE ARE HORRIBLE!!!!! I HAVE PLAYED HERE THREE DOZEN TIMES AND EVERY TIME THE GREENS HERE ARE HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT IS TOO BAD, BECAUSE OUT OF ALL THE L.A. CITY COURSES, THIS COURSE IS IN THE NICEST OVERALL CONDITION. GREAT TEE BOXES.....GREAT FAIRWAYS.....IRRIGATION HERE WAS REDONE AND THE GRASS IS GROWING REALLY WELL EVERYWHERE..........THE FAIRWAYS ARE CUT NICELY..........ROUGH IS AT THE APPROPRIATE LENGTH...........BUT STILL, THE GREENS HERE ARE LUMPY, SPONGY, SOFT, SLOW AND HAVE PRETTY MUCH THE CONSISTENCY OF PUTTING ON A LARGE PIECE OF SWISS CHEESE.............YOU CAN LITERALLY FEEL THE GROUND UNDERNEATH YOU MOVING AS YOU WALK ON THE GREENS...............NOT GOOD AND THE POWERS THAT BE HERE DO NOT SEEM TO HAVE ANY INTEREST IN IMPROVING THE SITUATION.............WHAT A SHAME BECAUSE I REALLY DO LIKE THE TRACK HERE

Totally Killer ...........it's sick what a nice public course this is.............too bad the L.A. City courses cannot hold a candle to "The Goose"..............and this place gets ALOT of play........kudos to the maintenance staff and greenskeepers here......kudos to the "ladies and gentlemen" who play this course (and actually repair their ball marks......what a concept)......and kudos to the friendly staff who work here and make you feel special...........I live quite far from this course but will be DRIVING out here weekly because this is what golf is all about..........and I am at the point in life where surrounding myself with people who love and respect the game as much as I do is a GOOD THING.........
