Played 4/14. this course is busy. Yes, this course is long and layout is tough. Started 40-50 minutes late. Hole#2 (Par 4?!) had 3 groups waiting. wasted additional 15-20minutes. Also waited at Hole # 8 par 3 - this time 2 groups waiting and saw Hole# 2 had 4-5 groups waiting (Hole# 2 and #8 are adjacent). The course conditions was good. Just unfortunate that with the $$$ of play fee we paid to get lousy pace of play without any marshals around really making the whole experience at this Beautiful layout golf course down the drain. Finished the round in 6(Six) hours long. Will not be back for a while. Forget the fall season, ala College Football season, when they use this golf course - fairways - as Rose Bowl parking space.

Played last weekends. Golf course condition was great. Par 3 holes#8 and #17 tough pin placement. Need course knowledge especially the back nine, Hole #14-16. Cart girl came twice. Snake bar - breakfast burritos is excellent! Pro Shop .... very quiet even though someone at the counter. Like to go back and play this course again.

Played 10-08 morning. Haven't played Mesa Linda course for more than 3 years. short course but very challanging due to the design of the green. Compare to Los Lagos, Mesa Linda Greens are bit smaller and wavy than Los Lagos course. Fairway bunkers and green side bunkers placement also making this short course fun to play. Like to play here more often. Good job to Costa Mesa CC greenskeeper!

Played 8/6(Saturday), good pro shop staff, cart girl great! Course condition is great for the very busy muni course. Just slow play is very tiring. over 5 and 1/2 hrs, almost 6 hrs. to finish. Next time will try their Mesa Linda course which is shorter of their two courses but I heard the green is more challenging.

Played 7/23 Saturday morning. Easy walking course. Pro Shop staff very professional and organize. All the pin placement were for the tournament ready, tough coners next to the bunker. Overall the course condition was good. Played many times here and for the first time I thought the greenskeeper did not take care the greens. Very bumpy. Fellow golfers, please fix your ball marks on the green and it is OK to wave the next group on PAR 3 Holes.

Played Sunday, day after the rain - gorgeous weather! Good customer service from Pro Shop. Lucky that we were Four some. But the Pace of play very slow as usual for weekends at muni - 5hrs 40minutes. Saw marshall only once at the 1st Tee; if strict marshall was on the course, we could have asked the marshall to get the group ahead of us to play faster. Other than that enjoyed the golfind day and the company I played with.

Played on Saturday morning. First time playing at this course with my buddy. Good practice range and very huge and nice practice green. Golf Cart had brand new GPS also was very nice.
Course was not difficult but the fairways were very close to the river and depends on where you land your golf ball, will get muddy.
Be careful around #4, #9, #10, #11 and #18 hole. They are very close to each other and practice green area and pratice golf ball sometimes fly out out of the net to the #4 tee box.
Paid $46 with the cart and free warm up balls but the price is too high. I will go to Costa Mesa G.C. or even to Birch in the city of Brea.
My first time and last time playing this course.

... park your car behind the golf shop to be safe that you don't get some golf ball flying into your car by erron shots.

Played on Thanksgiving day, Nov.25. Many five some today. not many people due to Turkey Holiday. Greens were bumpy but fair. Hole #12 par 3 green, more than half of the green were under repair with new patches of turf. Front 9 holes pace were slow but as always Back 9 were good pace. Total playing time was around 5 hours. Besides my score it was a good golfing day and enjoyed the course.

Played 8/14. weekends crowds and SIX hours to finish the course. No marshall on site. Nobody waved on all PAR 3 holes (yes, our group did waved the group behind us). Hole #3/Par 3, the green's condition is Mess! Played the course month ago and they still have not repaired the green. No fun once you land on the green in one shot (reminder, this was Par 3 hole). Many tee areas are on dirt only no grass area. This time condition of this course was very disappointing and SIX hours to finish 18 holes added very bad experience!! Will not return to play for a while... next year maybe.

Played 6/30, Hole #1 and #2 green were half sand w/minor some holes were punched in. Hole #3 fully sand. All other hole's greens were in good condition. Fixed many divots on every green. Everyone pls fix the divots and lake the sand traps. Fairways getting thin and you can see some FW are brown color (need more watering?). Hope the FW get more water for coming hot summer.

Played on Saturday for the first time. Read some of the recent GK review including the message from the manager from Hidden Vally regarding this course ... somewhat disappointed. Greens were very bumpy. Some sand traps were very hard and many stones and pebbles. The course layout was not intersting, especially infamous #18 hole. New management got tough challenges ahead because there are other courses nearby are much better and fun to play. Proshop, cart girls and staff services were great. Hope they can improve more on the course condition and layout.

Played 5/22 afternoon. Course condition was good from tee to green. Some holes fairways look narrow from the tee but most of the fairways are wide. Hole #16 Par 5 is very funky design cause second or third shot you have to aim high over the hill where the green is located. Very crowed but for the price and the condition of the course can't beat. The course is not very long so for the high to mid handicapers it is good place to play and learn the game. La Mirada G.C. greenskeepers, keep up your great job!!
