first tee is pushed forward, and so are two others, due to being punched and sanded over, greens were medium fast, but bumpy

the greens were great today, i may not have made any putts, but the greens were the best i have seen them in a while, consistent, smooth and not too many problem areas

the course is slowly getting better, the fairways are getting greener and the greens were actaully pretty quick for a city course

still a temp green on 2, and beware of west nile warnings

Went out at about 9 and finished the round in 4 1/2 hours. The course was getting into good shape but it looked like it had taken a few steps in the wrong direction. In addition, the green on number two is currently a temp. green.

beware, when you get there, there may not be any range balls left, lack of an enclosed range and someone to pick up the balls lead to not range balls. overall the course needs some time to mature, the layout is great and the course is fair to all levels of golfers

first of all stonehouse was having its fairways aerated so one on really played that nine. But the other 18 holes were in good shape. The winds can howl pretty hard in temecula and the can make you take one or two more clubs into some approach shots. The greens are very firm, you must put the ball on the front of the green if you want to keep it on.

This course has two totally different nines. The front nine is relavtively simple compared to the back. The front is layup golf and there are some holes you can birdie, but the back is where the trouble lies. Good shots are rewarded but not the bad ones. There are no friendly bounces any where. Beware of the wind, it can plya with your ball. Overall a great course and good conditions.

balboa is getting better and better every time i play it, the greens are better, the tee boxes are not as severly slopped as they usually are, and even some of the fairways are actually greener than usual. played on a tuesday at ten, and finished my round in three and 1/2 hours.

the greens have recovered nicely. they just hired a new greenskeeper for balboa, and he is doing a great job, he seems as if he really cares about the course. just wish they will try to flatten some of the tee boxes, but overall the course is in pretty good condition.

we all have heard about the aerated greens, but no one mentioned the tee boxes, they are aerated in most cases as well, its like hitting out of a bunker in some cases.
my only adivce the the current aerated greens is to read less break and to hit the putt firm to get it to the hole.
in addition, on some holes they are adding new bunkers so there is some thick patches of sand over some of the holes because they are still building them.
there is also a new hole on the course, hole 7 is now a 100 yard par three because the fairway for that whole was washed out.

greens are so slow it is ridiculous, you have to dunk the ball into the hole just to make a simple put. besides that, the course is starting to green up and the rough is very long in some places.
