Played Sat A.M. Course is nice right now. Greens are o.k. Rolling good but they have some poa growing. Great customer service. (A Shout out to Torrey and Jay ) Course is one of my favorites. You really need some knowledge of the greens to score well. They say everything breaks towards some valley to the east, but I saw putts break uphill??? They also put some new sand in the bunkers!!!!!!! Great GPS system in the carts. Great practice range. Bring a camera for some great pics.

played Sunday A.M. This is a great course. Greens about 9 on the stimp according to the starter. play from the tees that are right for you and you can have fun here. It was very nice weather at 6:30 in the morning. bring bug spray. not real bad but can be annoying. Fairways great, sand great and the tees level. pace of play was 4.5 hours. No GPS on carts, because they are replacing all their carts soon. Buy a yardage book for $9.00..

played sunday a.m..... Course is in good condition. Greens are fast. fairways are good for winter time. bunkers are soft with lots of sand. greens have some tricky slopes. course is flat, but very challenging. very crowded, but still finished at 4 hours walking. teed off at 7 in the morning. probably a longer round if teed off later.

Played Sunday 2-6-2011. Very Windy. Course and staff are the best. the only reason I gave it a 9 rating and not a ten, was because of the winter condition. cc But it is the best conditioned course I have played all winter. Greens are quick and the fairways are smooth. I was very happy to see sand in the "sand Traps". I have read all the reviews on Greenskeeper.org and the main complaint seems to be concrete bunkers. All the other golf course managers in SO. CAL should go to Goose Creek and See how to operate a golf course. Pace of play was great. You can easily walk this course in under 4 hours. They really care about the golf experience here. BEST VALUE IN SO. CAL

played 1-7-2011 (at) 8:00 p.m. under the lights. This is a fun little course to work on your wedges. 8 Dollars at 8 p.m. Played in one hour (9 holes). Greens rolled really good. Medium/Fast speed.

Played Dec 12 at 7 a.m. This was my favorite place to play when it opened. Now it is getting worse every time I come here. THe greens are slow and the bunkers have no sand. Driving Range would be the best, but you hit off sand. Maybe they should put some in the bunkers. I probably won't come here anymore, even if Morongo fixes it up, the rumor is it's going to be very expensive to play. (like Pechanga) Oak Valley is right across the street and is ten times the layout this place is and it's always in great shape. Too bad, I really liked this place before.

played Sunday 12-5-2010 at 7 a.m. The course is in "good" condition. The greens are good for this time of year. The holes are cut nice and the speed is nice. They are hard, but it is how links should be. You can putt from off the green. They have some pitch marks on them but still roll nice. fairways o.k., bunkers are good and tees are great. Customer service is great. Mike always is great. good deals via email make the drive worth it.

played Sunday at 7 AM. Cold and Windy. Fairways were a little wet from the overnight rains. The Greens were amazingly fast. round took 4 hours. easy course to walk. Gps on the carts. course plays shorter than the yardage. Bunkers seemed nice and tees were in fair shape.

Played Nov 1. I like the course and the staff, it was a solid 8 or 9 in my book. But the the price is too high for what you get. If you like to take photos of the Temecula area, then pay the price. Sandpiper has better views and is cheaper. The course has some nice looking holes, but you have to play this course many times to get a feel of where to hit it. The GPS is one of the best, but with all the elevation changes and twists and turns, you still have a challenge on picking the right club. The ninth hole has a big tree in the middle of the fairway (at) 290 yards off the blue tee. The Gps showed fairway to the left of it, but when I got to the ball just left of that tree it was rough. "The Rough" !! I like courses with rough. But this is a "Resort Course". Rough so deep you can't find your ball with a small search party. makes for slow play.
I will say the greens were smooth and fast. The practice area was top notch. And the service was great. But unless I hit the lottery I probably won't be back.

Played Thurs 8/5 at 7 a.m. course in perfect condition. Bunkers have bright white sand. fairways are deep green color. water is blue. flowers and brush areas are perfectly manicured. Tee boxes are smoother than most L.A. courses greens. only knock is the green speed is not as fast as I would like, but that is the way all the desert courses seem to be in the summer. I can't imagine how hard the greens would play in the winter when they can cut them short. there are many undulations on the greens and you would have to hit the correct side of the green to score well. still the greens rolled smooth. check out the indian burial ground on hole #4. never seen that before. Nine hole putting green course is fun. This is a must play if your a golf nut.

played Tuesday at 7 a.m. Course was great. Fairways and tees are perfect. Greens only medium speed, but rolled good. I hope to be back and play the greens at top speed. Played from the tips. Not that hard right now because the lack of wind and slower green speeds takes the teeth out of this course a little. It was still very difficult. You must hit the fairways. Doesn't get really hot until about Noon. Very playable in the morning, and if you can handle the heat, they have a replay rate of $39 for the stadium and $29 for the Norman. The Nicklaus course is closed for renovations.
