played saturday twlight. fairways are being seeded, so they are dry and firm. Greens are very firm/fast and rolling smooth. Bunkers need a little more sand, but playable. tee boxes are in perfect shape. this is a tough course. must hit straight drives or you will lose alot of balls.

Played Sunday (Fathers Day) with my son!!!!! The course is in great shape. Very Green in color. Greens were fast, but had many ball marks. They still rolled well. You better stay below the hole here if you want to have any chance of scoring well. The bunkers had good sand. No GPS on the carts, but sprinkler yardage was good. The par 5's are pretty easy. Every hole looks the same. Worth the drive, because of the great condition and price. Staff was very nice. We will return soon.

I like this course, but it is too expensive for what you get. Maybe they need to pay for the new clubhouse? If it was cheaper, I would play here more often. The course has a few elevation changes to make it a little challenging. The greens are soft and smooth, but pretty flat and medium speed. The fairways are good. They also allow you to play on your birthday for $15.. Staff was nice.

Played Friday June 18th in the afternoon. This course is in awesome shape. We followed a tournament so the greens were a little bumpy, but were still good and fast even with the poa greens. I am not a fan of courses built in housing developments, but this is o.k. played from the tips and it plays shorter than the yardage. But you have to hit it straight. My only complaint is that you have to hit off mats on the driving range. They have a nice range but you can only hit off grass Mon, Tues and Wed. This course is too expensive, but very nice staff. Just like a Country Club. Good Junior program also.

Played Sunday 5-16-2010. Course is in good condition. Should be great in about a month. Greens are good, but slow/medium speed right now. Tees are great. fairways thin, but playable. Play the ball as low as possible off the tee, except when hitting over the burns. You can shoot your best score here or your worst. Just depends on where you hit it. Course knowledge is a must. Buy the yardage book, the GPS can only help a little. Rated the Service good, but should be great. The staff in the morning was nice, but after the round as I went through the pro shop, I got a cold stare from the guy behind the counter. I said hello to him twice and he must be a mute because he didn't reply. It's called customer service for a reason. Other than that it was a perfect day.

Played Thursday 4-8-10 (twilight) played in 4 Hrs. 18 dollars for 18 holes, not bad!!This is the course I grew up on so I have a little history here. I like this course because the greens are very small and the bunkers are fun. It is a Muni, so that is what you get. The greens are good and the fairways are wide. Hit Driver on every hole and swing as hard as you can, because there is no OB. I believe the Rating from the back Tees (6000 yds) is 68 and is a par 71. You can really boost your ego here and have fun on a nice little course. The 17th hole is a 170 yard par 3 and the green is an upside down tea cup. Good Luck!!! The only down side to this course is the constant Mariachi music going on around the local neighborhood. Something you just don't get at your local Country Club.

Played Monday 4-5-10 in the rain. Made the trip from Orange County about 1 1/2 hour drive. The wind about 15 - 20 miles per hour and rain that never stopped. I thought the course would be unplayable, but for maybe four greens that didn't drain well the rest of the course played o.k.
I have never played here before and I was surprised that no one had written a review in quite some time. I will say that this course is worth playing. The greens are perfect and the layout is very traditional. I played the back tees and even with the wet fairways the course seemed to play short. The par threes have some teeth, but are very beautiful. The par fives are all reachable but you need to know what side of the fairway to come in from. The pro shop has a tip sheet on how to play each hole and I think it is free. The trees are your worst enemy. If you can navigate around them you will play well. The staff was nice. (they probably thought we were insane for being there). If you get a chance to play this course, do it. It is a very quiet little town. And if you have a spouse or child and you want to go on a little mini vacation, I would highly recommend this place. Great deals on the internet.

Played Sunday 3-28-10. tee time at 9:30 played in about 4.5 hours. Not too bad. This course is just average, but a good average. The staff is great. They are punching the greens now, but this course will be worth playing this spring and summer. The drive is what keeps me from coming here more often. The front nine is scenic and very challenging. the back nine is flat and you can score well. This course is worth the money.

Played Sunday 3-7-2010, Rained the night before and you couldn't tell. Drains well. the greens were very soft, and rolled true. Bunkers were good. Tee boxes were great. Nice staff. The course is laid out great. gentle dog legs and slight elevation changes. just enough to make it challenging, but if you drive the ball well you can score here. practice area is great. grass driving range with a great chipping area and bunker practice. Great price also.

Played Monday 2/8. Two days after the rains. and you could hardly tell that it rained. This course drains really well. Maybe because it is built on a ROCK!!! I am amazed at the design of this course. It is so lush. The Green grass against the rock quarry is so beautiful. The course is in excellent shape. The Greens are fast and roll smooth. They have Poa, but they are going to remove it in the near future, so they will be even better. The Sand Traps are deep, but they had little rocks in them. When they are wet the ball comes out fast. This is one ot the few courses that I can say is very difficult, but fair. If you play from the correct tees, you can hit driver on most holes. The GPS is the best. The Staff is very friendly. Saw the cart girl 5 times (on a Monday). The practice facility is great. If I lived closer, this would be my home course. What are you waiting for, go play this course.

Played Sunday 1/31/2010. had 7 a.m. tee time, but didnt get out until 8 am because of frost delay. No big deal. Pace was nice for a foursome (4 hours). Course is in nice shape, considering the Rain we had gotten. The greens were good, but not like they normally have them. Still quick, but a little bumpy, from all the moisture they got over the last week. They are very playable. Fairways and bunkers were nice also. It is really cool to see all the snow in the mountains as you play this course. The water hazards have not had a whole lot of water in them until now. They are almost all full, which is how the course should be. The staff was great. We will be back.
