I played in the GK outing on August 20th. The temperature was near 100 but not overbearing. The course was in surprisingly good shape for late August. Tee boxes had some unrepaired divots. Fairways were playable with most divots repaired with sand/seed mix. Errant tee and fairway shots that found the rough, ESA, and O.B. most certainly required a ball drop! Sand bunkers were inconsistent with some being wet underneath and others playable. The greens were medium fast but putted true even with unrepaired ball marks.

The GK staff arranged another great outing and the Robinson Ranch staff were very accommodating throughout the day. The facilities and clubhouse are set up nicely for groups such as our on-line community. In addition to the golf, the course provided scenic vistas on many of the holes, first class service by the staff, and a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy it! I would recommend this course to anyone.

I played in the Greenskeeper outing on 7/17/2009. The course overall is visually pleasant. The course staff were pleasant and attentive to our group before and after the round. Teeboxes were in good shape and level. Sand traps had good soft but not fluffy sand and had no problem getting out. Fairways had some bare spots but I have seen much worse elsewhere! Greens were smooth and had some ball mark damage but not excessive for a public course. The members in my group were outstanding and we won Team Net, I tied for my flight with another member along with taking Low Net. The Mexican food buffet after the round was excellent and it shows the detail the Sandpiper staff executed seamlessly. All up it was another great event arranged by JohnnyGK and the GK staff, the Sandpiper staff, and the participants who make these outings so enjoyable. This is a must play in my book and I will definitely be back next year — Johnny?? LOL!

I played on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at 11:30 in the GK outing. I was very much impressed by the service received by the members of our group and that of the Korean group also on the course. The golf course itself was in near immaculate condition, the greens were fast but rolled true with almost no ball damage, fairways and teeboxes in great shape, and the only MINOR flaw was a lack of sand in the greenside bunkers.

I am already planning to return and play the course in the near future! The PLGA folks who scored our outing were TOP NOTCH!

The East Valley staff made the day for many of us — I have not experienced the level of service provided at any other facility I have visited. GOOD JOB!

I would recommend playing this course to anyone who would like to enjoy a most pleasurable golfing experience. Thank you East Valley Golf Club for a memorable day!
